Kicking players for ELO

I dont understand this fully. I have been playing legion for over a year with 300+ games, i have low ELO due to a bad internet connection a few months back that gave me tons of DC's and loses, and now it seems like players regularly try to votekick me. Do they think its because of trolling? I just dont understand, i can go roll a new acct and no one cares then?? It doesnt make sense to me at all.

It's all because off shit ELO system. I've played more than 1k games on ucw bot 2 years ago, nearly 1k on UC during last year and nearly 1k more on all other bots I didn't prefer so much. Then I came on ENT because of some tournament which was announced few months ago. I got swapped by admins every time, so they can play with players who got better ELO, to make sure they will win the game and get even more ELO. My ELO was getting even worse because they swapped me in the teams with complete noobs who were selling towers for 50% gold, not healing king and stuff like those. That way you got no chance to get better ELO, because there's no way to win 1vs4 no matter how good you are. The only way is to find some skilled friends and play with them only, or get admin and swap better players in your team. This shit ELO sistem makes people chose unbalanced teams in order to win games and get better ELO instead of making balanced teams and actually have some fun while playing, which used to be the purpose of games...

swapping without agreement considered as admin abuse. i doubt you saw this alot on autohosted bots, if you by any chance remember name of admin, feel free to post, or next time you'll see this, you can post a complaint

If I as a moderator have to deal with all your bullshits about votekicking in lobby for low elo, no stats, or whatever, and if i see it on anyone (excluding myself, for i don't really care if a vk is issued) I will ban you for 2 days without question.

Hmmm...what about !stats?
Usually when someone with low elo jojn a game we see his stats...i am not good playin with someone that has less than 80% of stay...it means the player has a really bad conection or he just leave all games when he leaks and get mad!both of cases the player will ruin the game!
I dont vk abuse but i leave the loby before starts when i see someone that hasnt a good % on stay in game....
If only low elo its ok imo...but on another case ( % ) i think its bad for all another 7 players on game

9 times out of ten when someone joins who has 800 elo and 43/196 w/l or something, they are going to ruin your game, no communication, solo sends hard leaks etc... I dont vk in lobby but these are just facts. You can usually just tell by the elo and stats if someone is going to be a lemon.

Well there is usually always at least one, I just play them now, but they are mainly going to be game ruiners if they have noob stats.

I dont unserstand how this elo system is "shit" gaining elo is pretty easy now a days. Especially since most people try to cross build while having limited skill. Bust up their cross n u win. Its simple. Not all high elo stack teams or play with smurfs to elo boost( example being me 1900). In my opinion the elo system used to be pretty spot as far as skill ia concerned. ie a 1600 elo was actually pretty good where as now a days most 1600 elo pretty much blow due to the fact that they know nothing other than how to cross build. I remember the good ol days when the only people who knew cross strat were pro players who actually knew what they were doing. In the end the only true accurate elo as far as skill goes is 1v1. But as far as the elo system being shit, it def is not, and id like to see another bot come up with a better system for stat keeping and ranking. *rant over*

You can apply to LIHL, if you want another challenge. No cross allowed there. Or try to suggest that LIHL rules are standard on the 1100+ bot, which most games seem to be anyway (but by players' agreement, so breaking those rules is no real violation to be punished by us).

I have no problem playing pub matches. Nor do i wish to play in lihl. Ive never heard anything but bad things about lihl. Full or cry babies, drama, etc. etc. I play for fun. Was just commenting that i didnt agree that the elo was shit. In general it is a fair ranking system for public and lihl games. But the only real accurate ranking of skill is 1v1 in my opinion. Wether it be lihl or pub, in 4v4 even the best of the best are still reliant on a team. In 1v1 its just you and your skill
