Game moderator specialty (see below for choices): Legion Tower Defense (beta, mega, 1v1) and Battleships primarily.
Brief introduction: Hi mods/admins, my name is Wes. I currently provide concierge services for a four-star hotel in a full-time capacity. I have a degree in Psychology and am currently working on another. My name pays homage to an incident that happened at The University of Tennessee where I studied that caught the attention of international news media. It's the best way to destress for me.

Describe any relevant experience, both in moderating and in Warcraft III: I have moderated a few clan forums in the past (typically between 150-250 members), but never anything on the scale of ENT. As far as Warcraft III goes, I started back to Warcraft about six months ago, and have been playing heavily since. Before that, I played from the time wc3 was released, until about four years ago. As noted above, I primarily play LTD and am familiar with the gameplay and rules of Battleships, as well. The part I begrudgingly admit: I am not very familiar with DOTA, nor am I any good at it (ask my friends). I do understand that this is a major part of ENT moderating, but more on this later. Tools that I use with wc3 and feel comfortable with my ability: DRM, DRMF, DR Seeker, Gproxy, and FCD. I have only been using these tools for about two weeks, but I feel I have learned quickly and can now differentiate between a fog-click and a bug (by checking the replay and DRM) and can also run a thorough review of a game in 15-30 minutes.

Why do you want to become a game moderator: I want to assist you in the process of keeping ENT games fair. I see that the process of reviewing games can be tedious, and sometimes the brq's and appeals pile up. While admittedly I won't be much help for DOTA-related threads, I can apply my work ethic to many other threads, alleviating the workload for you all and allowing you to focus on the areas I am weaker in.
What will you bring to the ENT/Warcraft III community: The one trait I pride myself on, which I'm often recognized for, is my ability to approach situations in an unbiased way. I will do my best to make fair judgements, to deliver kindness when it is needed, and to be harsh when required. I will also bring a serious amount of time to forum work, seeing as I'm usually on between 11pm and 6am.
Closing Statement: If given a position with ENT I will commit myself to learning the rules and gameplay of other games, including DOTA so I can be more of an asset to the community. Regardless of your decision, I thank you for taking the time to read this and for the hard work you do to keep my favorite game alive.
@aRt)Y Per your suggestion, here is my application.

You don't need to know how to play DotA, as long as you know the rules and are able to review ban requests. I suck in DotA too (like really, 6/10 all games if I'm lucky), but I'm perfectly comfortable doing DotA ban requests as I know the basics and rules.
As for the application itself, at least you've put some thought in it instead of writing it in 5 minutes.
I'm in a hurry, so didn't exactly check any games of yours, and just peaked at the ban requests and appeals, but you look very promising.
Thumbs up and good luck with your application!

Re: ButtChugTheWine@UsEast
ya, basic rules are enough to be able to check dota BRQ. But still there could be cases, where you need deep grasp of the game you're checking out. Just saying tho. Support and good luck!

Well seems to understand basic rules, active, been giving thoughts on brq and appeals properly (knows how to use tools). While at chat, can't say much since i haven't seen him much on chat (could be just me, dunno ^^).

Hello Wes, nice to meet you.
From what I have read, "butt chugging" is a serious issue. Is it not? If it is so, elaborate what you mean by paying "homage".
As for ur app and recent forum activity, i have a good impression of you. Drop by the chat more often and talk to our staff members and others. Being part of the team and integrating urself is important. Chat support is also quite helpful to many.
Keep up with ur activity and continue updating ur ban request + appeal list here as you finish reviewing new cases while ur application is still pending.
There are no departmants. A mod should be open to learn new games and be able to moderate them. Every game has its own straight forward related rules and corresponding ban requests. For complex and more indepth analysis requiring cases, there are other mods you can ask for guidance. Feel free to ask me about Dota or other mod related topics.

@nabo. to answer your question about Buttchugging, I'm paying homage to the "incident" because I love things that are completely ridiculous. A kid getting ass wasted by getting wasted in the ass to the point of almost dying with a .5 bac is hilarious to me. I hate for him to be the butt of a joke, but there's something marvelous about this. I want to keep this memory from coming to an end (which, ironically, is how it all started), so I tributed my name to it. I would continue throwing puns in here, butt fuck it.
Get mah drift here? It's comedic gold.

Yes, it is ridiculous and pathetic. People including all of us do stupid shit at some point in our life. But, no, I dont find "butt chugging" and nearly dying funny. I could kinda imagine how it could be funny to some. My opinion is my own though.
Regardless, good luck with app.

Not like your personal definition of pathetic matters to anything.
Seems to be a decent character with knowledge of and experience using the tools.
