Sudden lagging problem, started in 12/26-12/29

Hello everybody...first post for me...

I recently have had severe lag problems while playing dota on several different computers. Each of the computers that are having the problem have been playing dota totally lag free for several years (except for invoker lag @ beginning of game to load resources). Because all of the computers are on the same network (my home network) I thought it was related to my internet so I upgraded my Fios to a 50 mbps download speed connection. I checked my speed and it is 58 mbps, but dota is still lagging. I asked some random players and one said they have a 12 mbps with no lag! It is as though suddenly my dota is ticking every few seconds, a similar type of lag to the invoker loading resources lag actually, and it tends to get worse (duration of the lags) as the game goes on, though this may not be totally accurate.

Does anybody have any idea what could be going on here? Any suggestions would help!

Is this at everytime of day and night? and is it only on the ENT bot's?

i got delay/lag too , I tried some games on different servers like dc or dlg it was smooth. and this problem started from a month b4. please fix it

So can I assume it is ENT and not my computer(s)? Ill test that by playing a game on dotacash and post the results either tonight or tomorrow. Thanks so much for the speedy responses, I'm impressed by how active this message board community is.

We are here to help, Yes ive had a look into it and it seems like a lot of people over the last month have been getting high pings and lagging, Maybe the bot owner will have a better idea as to what is going on.

Just finished a totally lag free game of Dotacash. So it is just the ENT games. How do I join games not hosted by the problem bot, or is that not really an option?

One more question...How come other players in game are not having any lag, when I am lagging severely the entire game long?

Im not 100% sure why, I usually have a very high ping myself as i live in New Zealand and i dont lag but some people in game are having the same problems as you.

New map (6.77b) didn't fix it unfortunately. For the sake of data points, I am located in the Northeastern US. Hopefully it gets fixed, otherwise ill have to switch to dotacash and deal with the game stackers there :/
