@Qvist
If you dont wish Hutzu to be a mod, are you going to be one? I sure as hell see Hutzu as a better candidate and potential. Dont pull out the "you do not fit to be a mod" card if you cannot give convincing reasons and solutions.

If you nabs really care about LIHL, use that brain more. Instead of making shit threads about the mod's decisions which are legit and reasonable, you guys should be talking to Fiji and help him realize his mistakes and wrongdoings as a true friend.

If you really believe Fiji is this valuable lihl asset, he should have the balls to admit his crap and solve his own problem through more effective communication. @ZTX)Fiji

I know quite a lot about running leagues and how leagues work. I have been in few DOTA leagues which were way bigger than lihl. For a league to live on, there have to be Quality game plays, Quality standard, and Quality people. Despite Fiji's overall contribution to lihl(activity, mentoring, part of the team, loyalty, and representation of lihl's higher gaming standards), rules shall not be discriminated.

All, here, agree he broke a legit rule. Then, he broke another bigger rule. You guys seem to think ban dodging is some little 3-5 days ban. Check our processed ban archives to understand our strict enforcement and views towards ban dodging. We call someone who says he contribute and love the community, then smashes its very standards...a hypocrite. There are standard ban durations for every rule we have, but these durations are adjusted somewhat case by case because we treat each case unique. Meaning, it is all a matter of communication between the mod and the rule breaker (which seems quite lacking here). @ZTX)Fiji

If you expect one person's activity will break the league, hoho...gonna have to rethink and vision further than that to keep this lihl going. Didnt know lihl was this fragile. Lowering the league's standards to retain a great player is not the best approach to uphold lihl's standards and its quality playerbase.

LIHL is pretty active currently tho, approx 20-30% more active than during its "worst" times in this year

I apriciate so much supportive oppinons in such a short while of time, and im sure theres many more unspoken comments to come with similar oppinions =) - i spoke abit to Diablo_ yesterday and said some idiottic things cos yes.. ive been really inraged recently ( @Hutzu you're european - i doubt you know anything about the temper of Pacific Islanders from Oceania )

Anyways i spoke abit with @Krumme aswell, we stepped outside of the box and looked at everything - ofc im aware of my wrongdoing And ofc you cant give me a free passport to break rules without consiquences - and yes ofc we all just wanna keep have fun playing legion together. So this perspective was a huge calmer for me to see - and it was also good to see that the mods had the same realiszation and wish in the end. I therefore appologized to Diablo for being rude against him and i promised him to come with an oficial appology at the forums aswell, yet i wanted to wait abit before posting it because i told hutzu to go fuck himself the very same day. This fact could make it seem like i just did it in hopes of getting re-vouched before the season ended - thats not the case, ofc im a human being, and i will return to my senses at some point or another. At the moment i still think things are abit hectic and wish for this thread to reamain open ( WITHOUT changing subject - including mods starting to indirectly show whos got the better authorities ) Although i think nabo made some really good pounts from his perspective "which were related to the toppic".

I have an advice for the mods about The toppic regarding Mods providing an inferstructure and players upholding the activity - IF the players are the ones upholding the activity and they are unhappy about something the mods decided or if they want something to be changed: Then dont cut them down and ignore them telling them that their oppinions are not worth commenting on or reading - They are telling u directly to your face that they are unhappy about something... ALOT of them did and will do - so If you give them the wrong message in return - they are gonna become less active, and therefore the league will slowly decay - im not saying that me breaking a rule is okay as long as everyone agrees - im just letting you know that ignoring people wont improve this situation, so if you could instead up with some constructive suggestions and some sympathettic replies to the players ( like nabo did ) there would be a faster solution and less termoil.

If you flash my banhistory arround, telling everyone that im the worst rulebreaker of all time as a reason to give a perma unvouch or 2+ months - then put an extra lense on - my kick on achilles has been the ONE AND ONLY rulebreak which had a direct effect of the outcome of a game - the rest has been kicks litterally 1 sec before our team died => no effect on the outcome of the game or on the players moral. & they span over a year of activity.

I will not kick or abuse anyone from this point on ( if im to be re-vouched at some point ) - If you believe me to have a destructive influence on the league or a potential source of lihls death - then first of all look at the players response to the situation instead of archiving a thread with mass oppinions - and take a step outside of the box and have an extra look.

No matter how much i regret it - i cant take back that i broke a rule and i appologize if this came out as a dickslap in the face of the mods - i admit that this action was rly childish of me (dude i will never fully grow up) most of u could tell that ages ago ;) but whats the fun in that ? ;)

I senseerly wish for the league to continue being a place where people could have fun together at the highest level of legion - aswell as a place where people could escape the struggles of the everydaylife. and i know that in the end - thats what everyone wishes for despite the faul language that we often speak to eachother ;)

I would like to note that threads will not be closed unless until a mod thinks it is considered a spam. Do not think that this action is another form of mod abuse. The reason certain topics were archived or trashed was simply because the content of the topic themselves were rage talks or not positively constructive enough. As long as you have a good excuse and a good reason with a positive attitude, I will listen to whatever you want to voice and suggest. All mods commit their own time to sustain this community and improve it even if by little when possible.

Some of you may disagree, but I believe that most mods at ENT are people you can reason with. Honestly, this whole lihl drama could have been resolved if you guys talked together in a chat room or bnet channel privately and compromised the situation.

The purpose of bans is to help people realize their mistakes and prevent another similar mistake/wrongdoing in the future, not to make you quit.

Good start. Now, we can compromise.

I love reading nabo's posts. They're always so long but don't say anything useful.

By the way promoting activity is a job of the moderators.

I strongly agree with this point of view of @nabo.

I cannot know and see all of details in ENT Forum,
but I'm sure that @Hutzu is one of the most passionate Moderators these days. You can see his working at Forum section Ban Appeal, Ban Request, etc.

I want to say my little story which is not same as this situation but, similar to this one.

I got unvouched at LIHL about a month ago, because I was somewhat bad in lihl.
I didn't know I was that bad until I got unvouched, just making excuse to myself that " I got bad roll, if they didn't send at lvl ~~~~` " , " If I had better roll~~~ "
I also felt somekind of bad feeling against the Mods since they were who decided to act perma ban to me.
Futhermore, I thought the continuous complaints were most important matter of my unvouch.

After, unvouch
I had few days off the legion, and chilled myself and started to look my own replays.
AND, I felt I was somewhat BAD enough to get unvouched.
I admitted myself that I was bad in playing since decent players make out their play while they have awful situations.
I knew I'm not good at legion, but I can say that I'm one of the passionative player in Legion TD more than anyone else.

So, I decided to change myself of playing because I really want to play LIHL again. ( since It is most enjoyful place to play Legion TD than Mega# or 1100+ Mega# room )
I really watched many of replays of decent players in LIHL and I can say again that Fiji was one of them. ( such as his sprite yolo and murloc yolo were really awesome )
I also feel that Fiji's influence in LIHL.

However, I think supporting him like this kind of way such as @Qvist is making @ZTX)Fiji awful person.

As I did, and I know he is better player than me, I'm sure he can endure his time of unvouched.
If he also think he is the keystone of LIHL, he have to endure his hard time since the fact that he did wrong, and decisions that Mods made will not be changed.

Im not defending Fiji or bashing on Hutzu.

But, a guy like Fiji - played 282 games season 2, 444 games season 3, 331 games season 4, 237 games season 5 and 246 games season 6.
Just wonder how 1 game can be such a big problem and then ban him for a whole season?
I think the LIHL players should be defending a LIHL player who have been a part of this for so long.
Don't treat him like he just played a pub game with maphack and then bandodge - he just played 1 more game out of his already played 1540 games..

I agree with Qvist - lets just let him break all the rules he want because he played a shit ton of games - this is obviously the logical choise.

Case closed.

If that includes allowing a rule-violator to join games or giving wrong signals by treating every rule-break with 1-2 days, then the moderator is doing his job wrong. I haven't seen the activity in LIHL dramatically dropping since then. And ban-dodge is a serious rule-violation, whether you want to accept that or not.

I never said don't ban people. Fair moderation often provides the best breeding ground for activity. Ultimately promoting activity is the job of a lihl admin and a fair punishment for rule breaking is part of that process.

Arty said in his post moderators just moderate the league and aren't responsible for activity, but promoting activity is also their responsibility ie fun weeks, New modes etc. Ultimately all moderation is is providing an environment which encourages players to play games, that's the bottom line.

And yeah u deserve to be banned Fiji. Personally I would have done 2 weeks for initial ban + 1 week dodge. But either way players need to accept the mods decisions, not everyone can be pleased by all decisions. When you clearly rule break (on both occasions) you put yourself in front of the judges for sentencing. Sometimes you get off lightly, sometimes you cop it.

When anti stuck was being abused large bans were handed out but ultimately it was good for the league. If Fiji gets a pardon then someone else abuses kick then they will demand a pardon too.
