Since lately more and more people are building too far back which often results in pulling the opposite lane we sadly now have to enforce our building rule strictly.
It reads as "All players must build on their own lane and can not build a tower that will attack a creep from the opposite lane."
So it somewhat consists of two rules. First one says, do not build outside of your own lane (that means do not cross the black line on the attached screenshot, the tower placement doesn't mean anything, it's just a random screenshot I had saved). Second one means don't build in a way which would result in pulling creeps if the other lane leaks (fast). So it is somewhat hypothetical and you might already break it even if you aren't pulling creeps, for example building a Zeus or Meliai the furthest back possible is kinda breaking this rule already.
Whether such cases result in a warning/ban or not, depends on each case. For example if you start building far back and then cross the line or pull creeps it's likely to get a ban, if you start building on a proper spot but got like 6 rows of towers at the end of the game and thus cross the line with some towers probably nothing will happen. If you want to be safe just start building for example 1-3 rows behind the first dark green line.
Thanks for your understanding and please just follow this rule ^.^
PS: I will check several replays the next days and ban/warn players accordingly, so don't think you are safe just because no Mod is in the game.

Re: Building rules
I did
It means a lot of units now have to start really close(or they are screwed later) and which will lead to less holds on a lot of lvls imo 2/3/etc
For example archers. Archers now must build really close or they will always pull fast leaks. Currently the archer build will always pull fast leaks on the early levels most notably on 5/6. They also end up building on the green really early if they want to hold a level such as 10 and levels after because they tend to build in the s/e or n/w side respectively to clog the units to one side.

Re: Building rules
Yep, that's what it means. Most people build that way since ages, so what's the big deal (besides that luck is a much bigger factor of how well you hold).
Also, we won't be evil and ban people for fun, but I don't want to be any more specific or people will try to bend the explanation as much as possible again.

Re: Building rules
I have 2 questions:
1. If you are on solo lane (in 2s or 3s) can you build behind the line?
2. What is the point of forbidding delays if they don't help to kill your ally or his leaks?

Re: Building rules
1) Officially it is not allowed but so far atleast I didn't ban/warn anyone for doing that as you can't pull another lane there. But as always, if it starts to become problematic we might change our view on this.
2) Because it can still pull the other lane. It was banned back when people clogged on level 17 and such to at least decrease the effect of it a bit. Delaying in the mid lane probably gives you a good 5-10 seconds more time if you clog. So there's basically nothing which speaks for allowing delays behind your lane, while there are a few cases which speak against allowing it

Re: Building rules
You built delays several rows behind your lane, that will always result in a ban.
That's how I treat it:
Pulling creeps = sure ban (unless it really couldn't be expected to pull)
Building delays behind your lane (and your other towers) = sure ban
Building on dark green = possible ban

When you play in this league you are obligated to have decent communication skills. Its your job to read the rules and follow them.Doing otherwise will get you banned.Simple as that.

I don't know if this is the right approach really. You said before delays are forbidden because it can help you with clog. There was no clogging or harm involved here.Sony- built delays with NO chance of his lane partner leaking with those units. The only reason he built those delays were for demon for 1 round. I think you should treat delays the same as building on dark green. If you do it to clog or if it attacks your ally you should be banned, but if it's just to get some extra time for a demon it should be allowed.

Re: Building rules
Building outside your own lane (aka crossing the dark green line) is not allowed and every situation we don't ban such cases is simply good will from our side. But building single delays behind that line is simply breaking the rule and there's no excuse for it (unlike when you get many rows of towers by the end of the game and hence have to cross the dark green line a bit).
I don't get what's there to discuss, sorry
Breaking that rule more clearly than with delays is almost not possible and if we would allow delays behind the dark green line in some situations it will just lead to more and more rule bending (and at one point breaking).
