ENT78 - [ENT] Hero Line Wars RoC version is not official!

HLWRoC 5.3b was the latest map release by Kueken (people believe the cheated 5.5 is, but that is false.) A few years later Kueken gave some random guy called iKill4u@europe permission to create a 6.0 version and gave him the unprotected version of the map as Kueken had quit his projects many years ago. iKill4u did 3 things for the map: new terrain, 2 new heroes (which was already in the game if you did -debug in singeplayer) and gold cost for Shrine indtead of mana. I spoke to iKill4u at the time personally and he told me that the gold cost for spells was just a beta and was likely to be changed but he had to see how it played out in the public. After his release he was rarely on wc3 and the community is now stuck with a broken and untested map. Please use 5.3b for your autohosted HLWRoC game. 6.0 is not finished and it is not official. I know for a fact that people don't play this map and rather use MMH to host their own game using 5.3b.

I agree the 5.3b is the most classic hero line wars map ever and certainly better than the 6.0 beta and the LITE version

I've been trying to reach Kueken with no result. iKill4u is far too fond of his version to agree with me that 5.3b should be hosted instead of 6.0. And unfortunately I don't have any proof that I have spoken to iKill4u personally. But I hope you admins will see the logical choice is to host 5.3b.

Apparently -repick function is bugged in this version, when you try the command -repick to repick heroes it will cancel your current hero and not giving you any choice to pick a new one

Bugged in 5.3b you mean? Rather play that instead of the untested 6.0 where spells cost gold instead of mana and isn't even official.
Edit: I tested -repick in -ap game in 5.3b. Seems to be working. And I'm sure it works in random modes as I play those the most. Which verison did you play?

Aside the gold instead of mana spell costs and not being an official map, what else is a problem? Any big glitch/unbalance?

I played the v6.0 and -repick function does not work in any kind of -ar(.........) mode

As far as I see it the latest enjoyed version was the 5.3B. I think there is no repick bug in that one; however I will play one just to be sure.

I have tested the ar mode in 5.3B and it is not bugged like in V6.0. Attached is the map.
