!votepub command for all users
You know when admins repub games using the !pub command? This puts the game in game list, which lets people find the game easier and make games start faster. But there is not always admin there to do !pub, so people have to wait more... So I suggest to give all players access to this command in game lobby, so they can have games start faster. In order to do this, and to prevent abuse, you require it a !votepub. Example, for Rabbits Vs Sheep, a player can do !votepub Rabbits VS Sheep +3 , which will start a vote, similiar to !votekick, players can !yes it and if get enough votes, the bot will rehost as that game name.

I think there's more than this to get your game on gamelist.Strikest wrote:You know when admins repub games using the !pub command? This puts the game in game list, which lets people find the game easier and make games start faster.
I'd say no, because if i type /whois ent48.. and if a player has voted to change the name, I'll get that old message saying the game doesn't exist. So I don't think this is a good idea.Strikest wrote:But there is not always admin there to do !pub, so people have to wait more... Also you can just host your game using the bot clan.enterprise. So no big deal.

Re: !votepub command for all users
Why would I want to host a private game when I can use the autohost bots, which fill faster?
And you're wrong. If you do /whois ent48 you would get the new game name, so that wouldn't be a problem at all.

Like others I'm not used to back and check what's the gn. Probably I'll persist for a min.. until the game started. :3
Also If i'm not wrong the majority of players *in our community* uses gproxy, if you misstype the gamename you'll get disconnect from bnet.

Re: !votepub command for all users
I don't see the problem... There will be nothing wrong when you /whois the bot, it will show the correct gn. If you take minutes to join a game that is your fault.
