Why is flaming not a reason to get banned?

Hey guys,
i don't always play 1100+... i mean 1200+
And if I go for mega, its really bad. Not only that there is no teamwork at all or people listening to teamorders let alone hints which unit to build... but they will also start flaming having no point to do so at all. Well I might be a smart ass sometimes, but people fail so horribly soooo often when i warned them about it that it's really annoying.
I mean seriously: How do you get to 1200+ if at least 2 of your 3 mates play against you every game?

One example of a guy who flamed me in german because he thought outcasts is a good unit to start with and that it holds 7 with sends so we shouldnt up king which lost us the game:

@rolfdafiftynine solo play to 1400 is fairly simple if you have in game skills, proper english skills and calm nerves to coach your teammates.
I've single handedly coached 2 first timers to a victory with me several times simply because I keep coaching them.

But yes you will in alot of games end up with people that are below your skill lvl or is simply retarded but the way to gain ELO is to work as a team

Over the internet, we do expect that you are able to tolerate minor degree flaming and shit talking.
You can also use !ignore <name> or /squelch <name> as a solution to verbal conflicts.

As Spzi mentioned, we do ban excessive cases.

Can you just read what we wrote in game? We had wave, no good units for 7 and opponent send for 100% this level. Nevertheless they wanted to send so I also did because 3 people in my team did. He leaked like 20 units, me 25 (not many more) so he started screaming insults at me ("HURENSOHN" go ahead and translate it if you like) because i leaked to many satyrs. Also he didn't heal king then.

I just want to know how you can "coach" better. I tell another person not to up catapults and just build a lot of them - next round he start upping them. I am really annoyed by this and consider not ever playing mega again because I feel that this is also just like every situation in life: The ones who have no clue at all are the loudest ones that don't question their views at all and want to force all other people to just do as they want.

@rolfdafiftynine this was more of a general guide than a guide for this excact game. 1200 is very easy to accomplish so if you simply apply what I told you and you actually have decent skills you should easily be able to get 1200 elo.

It's all about your own attitude and how you talk to others. If you do it right most of the people will listen to your advice and calls etc.
If you do it wrong it can often backfire and it will piss them off so they start doing exactly the opposite. And telling people what to do too often is also not a good choice because many people dislike that. It's better if you ask if they want your help or you give general feedback like "tower x isn't that good red" instead of saying "don't make that red, push now and then build this" and so on.

On top of that, if you aren't too good yourself you should also be careful giving advice since it will often be the case that what someone does is better than what you suggest even if you think otherwise.

In short: be nice and friendly and try to lead the team without telling them what to do. Plus look for mistakes in your own playstyle and don't just blame your team (do you really think you always get the bad players while the opposite team only has the good ones?)

PS: You should only play on the [ENT] Legion TD Mega #xx bot, not the Euro one, since the players there are definitely better.

all the people commenting in this thread are not exactly ELO whores. but yea, lol so easy isn't too wrong.

if you want to ELO whore, you can basically afk your way there (stacking). if you want to just que normally without checking if your teammates care about ELO, you can talk to teams before you start to vouch that your teammates aren't idiots.

what you consider flaming might be their idea of fun, so just have to have a high level of empathy i guess.

stacking is playing with people you know? I don't know many people and I just want to play relaxed with no stress, not caring about elo too much. I just get annoyed by people who play soooo badly and flame if you correct them. I am not insulting or something, just read the game posted above if you like..

actually it is such easy, if u stay calm and care to not play with asians below 900 elo (they afk or troll always ) ... the most important: dont flame by urself and if somebody else fails or flames, stay calm and either joke or be quite and carry the game by urself.

Also I am sick and tired of reporting leavers. You have to report every match because there is always at least one person who breaks a rule.

outcast don't hold 7 with sends. upped outcast is as good as blaster 7 though. I wouldnt suggest doing this unless you have to though.

In my opinion ENT18 is the hardest thing to play. You have no team work, double build, and mercenary. If you combine the miss or no heals I mean you could lose many winnable games.
