My post should have clarified as to why -em is useless. People have yet to bring up an argument as to why it is so difficult to adapt to normal games. - It is also to combine the player base of em and normal games. Thus, increasing the bots activity in theory.

EM is just a different, less serious version of Dota. There is no difference between the two IMO. Strategy's will change depending on which version you play as you obviously aren't going to have as much gold or level up as fast in a non em game. Are better players attracted to non-em games? Yes I would agree with you that they are but I disagree with you that em games shouldn't be posted. I play apem because it's fun. 5 or 6 years ago when I had no life and tons of free time to waste on Dota I played non-em games. It's a preference. Why shut people out who don't want to play the same version as you? Seems kind of childish to me IMO.

i start to play on eurobattle.net(lagabuse.com) only because non-em mode,and no stacked games and balanced games,

Propose -em, -emso & also .81 version .83
why no apemso?
I think more you force to get one mode, less interest the community get.
Imagine ENT hosting AP / APEM / APEMSO / ETC on .81 & .83 ?
THAT rocks.
Just AP, even if it's "best" "elite" mode, to make everyone happy, u should just server the most you can.

I've Played dota on ENT for about 2 years now and i can honestly say this is the best thing that has ever happened. EM is complete garbage. No one needs to cs and low leveled noobs have gold when they shouldn't. This also encourages players to play as a team and engage in more team fights since people have to work for gold and it isnt just given to them for free. A lot of times people get outlaned, outfarmed but still have all their items at 30 minutes which makes no sense. Please keep EM removed from the bots!

Waht do we do at fountain? Buy items and respawn. The foutain hill and farther attk range actually makes it harder for players to fountain farm if you have not yet realized.

And at rosh?

Simple. kill him. Nothing harmful to gameplays. The change of location and its size is for a different meta. If you check rosh pit fights on dota2, you will see.

Dear* ENT Admins, compare your previous discussion topics about removing -em to this one. That is why I pointed you need to listen to OTHER players, not just the ones who visit the forum daily and demand removing the -em mode. However, it seems to me that you have already decided what is going to be, so any further comments are useless.

If you want real statistics, have 4 bots that will host:
DotA v6.81d -ap
DotA v6.81d -apem
DotA v6.83c -ap
DotA v6.83c -apem

And then compare the results.


Anyone who is playing DotA v6.83c should really read the changelog to understand the changes. For example, there is no "Mort bug" - the Blur effect is simply reversed meaning it is active when no enemies are near.

Personally I don't have a big problem with non-EM as a mode, but I would also support more choices over less choices, as long as there's sufficient interest (there is for EM games). Just from my experience so far, a lot of good players have quit ENT now, and player politeness/quality is down. Maybe they're over at dota void, but void is shit for its own reasons.

To everyone voting against removing em, please kill yourselves. this is a 15 year old game learn how to play properly. if you cant play, or learn to play non em try playing something like tetris. its sad seeing all the good players go to dota 2 or stop playing cuz theyre sick of em. eventually all the noobs who cant play non em will learn it and ENT dota will be a better place.

what is good on em mode some1 tell me please?

I was first against 6.83 as can be seen in some of my past posts, but now when i start play it, i can say its best version for now. but problem its , 6.83 is rly not playeble on em mode.

in normal mode like whole world play games are much much better, u need to play like team, suport need to be suports,and everyone need to doing their job, like free farm , warding , dewarding , ganking , games are longer and in any case more interesting , u can deff 55 min in your base and then kill them all and just push and win game. comeback is more possible, if u have 5-0 in first 10 min with some hero its not free win, PLEASE START PLAY NORMAL MODE AND U WILL SEE POINT OF DOTA, Unfortunately, if you have some feeder or ruiner on the team u still can win game,what is not possible in em mode, i think its possible in 1/10 em games.

ah yesh , i ask whole my friends I've invited to play on ENT(its like 20-25 ppl) about em or non-em mode and only one say give back em mode, and ofc thay say wooow non-em i missing that mode,if u dont belive me i can tag their nicks.
