Does -ap break slark somehow? Only played him once so far and went 27-3 or something stupid... wasn't very fun 2 shotting supports all game because they can't afford ghosts or euls.

The logic just doesn't make sense. If -em is removed, why would I play Dota over Dota2? for the inferior graphics? for the shitty community?

Holy fuck you are dense. Any competent player would not let you snowball with slark. Considering ap just started filling recently I will say there will be a short adjustment period where noobs will catch up in skill level and broaden their gameplay. Congratz on stomping with slark tho. Next time post a link so people can judge ur impressive skills and the team u faced. Ever consider that people may not be playing dota 2 cuz their computer cant run it or maybe they just enjoy wc3 graphics ? I agree with alopp, if I wanted to play dota2 (map-layout, hero skills, ect) I would play dota2. Dota2 beats 6.83 in every way: graphics, matchmaking, ect. The only thing 6.83 has is WC3 nostalgia value and that won't keep it alive.

Another thing I really like about 6.81d is that it doesnt change! I can leave dota for a month when my life gets busy, and then come back and play a game no problem. With the new chain of maps to be released to keep up with dota2, it will be constantly updating and therefore it is hard to leave dota and come back. I like not having to read and hour of change logs every time I come back to figure out who is now OP and what is new.

I appreciate you made the opportunity to vote and are hearing-out both sides. However, I honestly see the clear solution as offering both alternatives no matter if 6.81d or 6.83 wins. That way everyone can be happy and u'll keep all of your player base. I personally won't play 6.83 and will move communities if I must, but just because I don't like it, doesn't mean I feel the need to block other people from playing 6.83 who want to. I would hope 6.83 supporters share the same courtesy back to me and allow me and other users to continue playing 6.81d.

I like the previous map WAY better than the new buggy dota2 version map. I am not even gonna go into the details because Nabo is going to shake his head in disregard then write another bs wall of text in response with a finishing low blow by bringing his 30 clan high guys AND his admin friends to back him up like he did on this biased poll. Putting a poll on this thread which no one even reads is already LOL.

I'm moving to dota 2 . What is the point of dota 1 now that it is same as dota 2 ? Other than having shitty graphics, small community, BUGS, glitches, slow games (than before), longer wait in lobbies (than before ) and underqualfied game moderators (not all admins, mainly the new ones that became one like a year ago)?

Put both maps and ALL modes . Instead of trying to force ppl to play the modes some minority players ( who thinks they are elites of dota) wants to play. There is a REASON why ppl did not join ap and ar games on the new map when the bots were running along with apem and arem on the older map.

I know I've posted several times in this thread, but I have to say - I don't understand what the problem is with having EM games run alongside normal games. If someone wants to play a normal game, they'll play it - when did ENT start forcing its players to play normal games?

AP sucks. I don't always have an hour to waste playing a game. a 20-30 min EM game i do.

@alphax go play dota 2 who cares about you, its sad when people cry about the modes becoming non em when thats how dota SHOULD be played. besides if you have any knowledge of dota 2, which it seems you dont, you would know that dota 2 is now more updated version. saying that "clan high is all over the post" is a joke. its the GOOD players who seem to vote against em and clearly you are not one of them. I wish icefrog never made em so noobs like you would think thats the way it should be played. people need to stop being lazy and learn how to obtain gold themselves. its much more rewarding to win a non em game than a shit 15 min em game.

@mystical_ice like people have said before, you should expect to play up to an hour REGARDLESS if its em or not. i have played 15 min ap games AND 70 min em games. you kids are actual jokes thinking that this bot should go back to how it used to be. and according to the poll it seems the better players who want non em care more as they took their time to voted. seriously stop being bad and get a grip. getting gold by being absolutly useless is sad. its pathetic seeing a slark picker with 20 cs in 20 min have 3 tier 5 items.

Ok if youre all so worried about APEM why dont we make EM game stats not count that way there is an incentive to play non em for those who want stats to show on their record. Since all im hearing is I play casual blah blah blah 20min games once a week then you shouldnt have any complaints since youre the casual non competitive player. I think this would be as middle ground as it gets since stats by nature make this game competitive. Once players realize their "skills" arent being represented by playing EM games they will play non em, while still falling back to EM games when they are short of time or dont want to try hard. This is kind of a suggestion but it relates to the topic at hand. Feedback is welcomed.

Let arem stay... only mode i play on ENT bot.. it's easy and fast.

I think the poll is kinda biased because people that vote are more likely to be good/decent at the game, as they have shown the willingness to create an account and participate in the community; it shows they care. Better players will naturally prefer a more competitive choice (all bot on non-em, v.6.83c). I think if we all change the bots to non-em we risk losing a decent part of the playerbase. Eventually, noobs will be tired of playing arem all day, and they will try ap on 6.83c.

Why is there no option to host both normal game and EM games on the latest map?

Again. As i said. v6.81d is the old map. Therefor host both versions on the newest map.

I have only visited the forum before to check the gamelist before, but after seeing the lobby msg, i decided to vote. I can understand what both sides are saying, but it seems to me that non-em games will help improve the overall quality of games. Planning to play a 20minute dota game is baffling... Games have been feeling well and i already see people csing and playing more careful instead of being reckless and dying without much care in -em games.

Ill be honest. I had my fun in -em games...but all ppl do is run around with no need to cs and hunt other players.

As for the modes...i honestly think another version like 6.78 is way more balanced than 6.81 or 6.83, but i do agree that 6.83 has new things that interests me. It is more reasonable to play the newer map since it is stable and playable. As for hero balancing, it seems to me 6.83 heroes are more balanced. I really like the fact tat the fountain has a longer range and attack.

I'm good with whatever modes and map on ENT. Noobs will always be noobs and because I will simply enjoy the game while destroying everyone.
