I just joined a game as obs (Broud3r was the other) and got kicked out of the lobby cause some new guy wanted to obs too. Besides chosing me to be kicked I totally disagree that someone has more right to observe a game than others (within the league) - the devise is: first come first serve. I don't wanna make a fuss out of it but I feel disrespected and hope that nore gets a warning for the inappropriate behaviour.

If you invent such absurd rules, then be as consequent enough to kick all obs for the fairness sake.

The only absurd thing here is you not knowing about it despite it being an announcement nearly two months ago.

Mods and new players are the exception. That has nothing to do with fairness but aims at giving new players the opportunity to watch a game. You can just go play another game or obs a different one - you don't have to meet a quota to be vouched like new players.

"Disrespect"? Comes from the community demanding obs vetos for mere "I dont like you"s - even if you guys dont admit it.

Again, think first, come up with some arguments and then start a discussion. Blaming others, claiming bias and whatnot leads - surprise, surprise - nowhere.

That said, I doubt we will change the rule regarding newly vouched players as the opportunity for not vouched players must be guaranteed.
