@Burn I agree.
@Lynx I'm not going to set up or keep changing my hotkeys for the sake of a random map in inhouse. Likewise most people won't do it either....

Re: [BTI] BTI Inhouses
Who said anything about you playing? I just want the ih next weekend to be 3.0.9d so I can lure back old euros easier. Besides, unlike you it seems, people are more familiar with 3.0.9d.

Re: [BTI] BTI Inhouses
Isnt it just better that euros gets used with the new hotkeys like all others? Sure, i didnt like the new hotkeys first but i got used. I think @shadowzz and @lynx should stop this flame war on the forums, idm both vers but What Haunt Said it is burns ihs. Can someone tell me when the first 400 ver came autohosted?
Having an unstable internet connection or a high risk of lagging out? Are you tired of losing a won game because you disconnected?

Re: [BTI] BTI Inhouses
All in BTI are welcome to inhouses and all have an opinion. It shouldn't change for the sake of people who are NOT playing the game at all right now. The idea that you want the map changed so that players who don't play the game will be happy to come back is just........

Re: [BTI] BTI Inhouses
millt: For us euros it's not about the hotkeys, it's about game quality. The quality of the ih is a lot worse since the lack of balance in this version brings the quality down(for example, burn solo killing titan 5 minutes into game last night as demo). Why can't we just host a more balanced version for more balanced games.
haunt: it's near impossible to have a vote on the time of ih start since people spam chat too hard and impatience from players. and if 4.0 is hosted half of the players boycott it and if 3.0.9d is hosted the other half boycotts it. I just attempted to resolve the issue here and now so we dont have another one of these boycott fests.
Shadowzz: yes everyone in bti should be able to play, and you as well. but we have to prioritize from highest skill to lowest skill similiar to what was done in the ihl 2013, but i guess im not alone on judging skill.
the reason i haven't been playing this past week is because i have been on vacation.
I'm all for stopping this flamewar, I've tried to not flame as much as I could, going to be more civil in future.

Re: [BTI] BTI Inhouses
As this turns out to be more of a general discussion about which map is better suited for in-houses, please open a separate topic. Burn already gave the reason and made up his decision. Any further posts regarding the map choice are subject to deletion. Thanks.

Re: [BTI] BTI Inhouses
@Lynx I agree that we should have a trues. No more flame
I agree that people with higher skill levels should have more choice in the clan on what map is played. But I also think that clan activity should be judged prior to that. Members of the clan who are active now should have choice before people who come back to only play an in house game. Then skill should be taken into consideration.
Anyway, up to burn

Just a reminder, inhouses are now changed to 6PM EST to further accommodate euro players. Try to get on earlier for next inhouse, I'll try to be there!
If I'm not there, anyone else with admin can host inhouses. PM me if you want any further questions about inhouse rules!
Countdown 'till 8th August 6PM saturday EST: http://www.timeanddate.com/countdown/ge ... sive&csz=1

Re: [BTI] BTI Inhouses
Nah, don't like it. Unless it's something official like the ENTIDIH games that can be officially moderated, BTIIH scores can be abused and we can barely get enough players for BTI inhouses due to missing euros, so I want to keep it casual. Don't want any pressure to join inhouses, similar to elo for pubs.

Re: [BTI] BTI Inhouses
We could make a sub-forum to get official IHs started again. But until it becomes like LIHL or DIHL, it might take some time.
We could offer you the infrastructure if you think you will get players who are willing to be a little mannered and to participate on a regular basis.
