Is giving out free tips the new thing?
I guess I'll give yall a tip I have never seen anywhere on the forums or in-game.

As titan, click somewhere on the map and look at the pathing your titan chooses to take. Your titan will try to get the closest to where you clicked asap.
You can find lumber bases/tower bases without pearling them just by looking at the pathing your titan chose since people usually block the path to their bases. By blocking the path with walls, the fastest way to get to where you clicked changes and thus, revealing that that the path is blocked and there is usually something behind those walls.
You can usually use this to find bases near you, as the pathing for something far is usually going to make your titan go in the same direction whether or not something is blocking it.
Right from the start, you can find alot of lbs from the gold mound, even some far away (assuming people have walled their lbs, which they've had more than enough time to do, and that 4 demos did not already wall you in).

Here's a picture of what you can find from using this technique when at gold mound.

Green: Easy to find. It takes me ~10 seconds to scan the whole green area.
Yellow: Hard to find. Requires very precise positioning at mound and clicking at a precise spot.
Red: Extremely unlikely or Impossible to find from gold mound.

I've returned to this post many-a-time, trying to figure it out.

Out of all the things I've read about and theorycrafted myself, this is the most innovative.

I've decided to test this today once I get home and try to master it.
