btiih score proposal

Postby Stealer » Sun Aug 09, 2015 7:03 pm

I think some form of stats should be recorded for btiih.

Code: Select all

First blood = -0/-1/3 (past 10mins / after 3 mins / before 3 mins)

Builders in builder win = +1 (+2 if last base)

All obs builders in builder win = +0
All obs builders in titan win = -1

All minis in builder win = -1
All minis in titan win = +0

Titan in titan win = +3
Titan in titan loss = -1

For minis / obs points are awarded based upon which they were longer & by reason. If you were last builder to die you still get -1 and if you were mini entire game but titan punished you still get -1 if titan wins.

sounds interesting, also more accurate measurement of skill than elo. Should it be used for priority in ih lobby or just bragging rights? either way, i like.

I think mostly bragging rights. If somebody first bloods early they'd probably have the lowest score for a long time so if it was used to priority they might have trouble playing.

Eh, I think east inhouses should be kept casual, I've said this before, but east players don't even tryhard, even in inhouses. It's a diferent change of pace, I guess.

There's one thing I've noticed in east inhouses though, that titans don't buy WOTWs, because wands get deto'd nearly instantly.
