I would like it if bti ihouses could be advertised for on the welcome message to the bot, or as a whisper in green once the game has started. We need to expand a bit besides "requiring euros" to get a full ih, if possible.

But we would be sacrificing gameplay a bit as these would be decent pubbies that would be joining. I just know I've seen decent players in pub games that aren't in ihs.

Also I don't really like how .9d is required for some ihs because whoever group of people want an older, less progressed version.

I suggested advertising the ih's here but it got declined. I agree with you that a lot of people are not aware of the ih's and advertising them would be very beneficial. There is actually a lot of decently skilled players that could play in the ih's but do not know about it.

Last ih we played narbtit, every player except you agreed to switch over to 3.0.9d. That version is a lot more stable for ih's in terms of balance and aswell as no desyncs. And as the games goes longer as they tend to do in ih's desyncs are more frequent in necos version. Let's vote on the version until neco releases a more balanced and stable version.

What the ih's really need from ent is imo
  • Advertisements
  • Sub-forum with rules and general tips on how to play in an ih compared to a regular pub
  • Whisper-bot that messages preset users when a new game is hosted

using ent hosting bot isnt really necessary as bti bot is suffice, but idk maybe it would be nice as it uploads replays automatically so it's easier to link to them.

I think it's worth a try to get entidih started again.

The advertisments will come naturally, just like for DIHL and LIHL.

The tips on how to play in IHs should already be covered by guides (afaik) and rules, well.., players didn't pay much attention to them the last time. I will leave the rule framework for the IHs to the community for now in order to all agree on it.

The whisper message is part of the IH bot system. Additionally, I would prefer ENT bots for the reason stated and the proper and official enforcement of penalties. As mentioned often in the past, I consider IHs to be an above-average league and the attitude (at least rules-wise in IH games) should reflect that.

I will notify uak.

Yeah I forgot about the desyncs wow those are horrible now. Those piss me off to no end. Randomly during titan heals, and when I used to titan I played syph and his ulti desyncs too. I will play .9d then. I'm assuming .9d is still going to remain the official ih then I guess?

Also we need to not be too strict on the vouching. I'm talking whitelist application for a minecraft server.

You don't have to be vouched to play entidih. It's just that you will most likely get kicked for a vouched player if you are not vouched.

Any player that can play titan and builder without being completely can be a vouched player, it's not hard. It's just that the vast majority of players don't bother to learn how to properly play inhouse level titaning.

EDIT: I want to add, the reason why you should be able to titan is because titans are often picked at random using !sp, or being first blood.

Then I suggest we change the vouch procedure description before denying vouch requests and ppl think they can't play.
"To play in IIHL, you must be vouched"

But then he says "As your vouch test, you will be asked to play several inhouse games to demonstrate your overall skill and knowledge."

So basically if you play it'll be a vouch test, it would work better if it was changed to "to be a member of iihl, you must be vouched" @Art)y

Or just removed, I guess, would work too.

EDIT: Actually, I think it's because we might have iihl stats, that's why any iihl game will instantly turn into an un "inhouse" game if there is an unvouched player, it's a bit confusing, might need some clarification.

Copy pasta from DIHL. Basically, for the beginning, all players who get support from the current community get vouched and all players can join the games for now anyway (tho, vouched priority > unvouched).

We will work out the details once we got some vouched players.
