Suggestion for ss test

Well, since the currently ss test condition is pretty dumb, need 1mod in game to make a ss test.
I never asked for a ss test but :
If i mh i have just to turn mh off when mods in game, and turn mh on when no mods without any chance to getting caught (pretty lame).
So even if ppl don't ask for a ss test , better to make in all mind the ss test can be done in all games and not only when mods in game.

For that , first solution is , making a deal, if someone ask for ss test we all agree to a ent mod account where to send all ss test in time, and don't unpause till all ppl sent ss test , so the mod can review when he conect to forum all ss dated, and if someone miss we can consider it's faill ss.
If u have best idea go ahead, but the current rule is kinda weird , since the mher can mh 50%+ games without any fear since no ss can be done without mods in game

There was at least one case where a player (me, lol), did a screenshot test after getting an OK from a mod who was not ingame. I don't think anything speaks against doing it if there is a reason to. Of course the person handling it would need to be mature and respected or it would just lead to chaos or be ignored.

Or you can get the mod to whisper all players in that game.

The person "handling it" doesn't matter. The result is the exact same thing, coming from a different person...

We just need lihl mods to be doing more ss tests. I have PMed several times and made an announcement.

SS test is easy. You take a screeny, attach the ss file from wc3 folder (.tga) and send it to LIHL Moderators via PM. Steps should be clearly stated on the wiki. Taking long will be questionable.

It is true that if lihl mods are present in the game, the likelyhood of turning on mh is lower which is why, as mentioned, lihl mods should be whispering reliable players to pause the game and tell all to do an ss test. (Isnt it obvious that unpausing is failling ss test?) Should not be a difficult task nor one which requires a lot of effort.

Well, it don't fix the mods dependence about ss.
Usually if mods online, they 80% of times sign and play.
So when no mods online, ppl are free to turn mh on, that's just the only thing i'm worried.

And also i don't think need to be mature and respected to check screenshots, if ppl are mature enough to make a lihl apply doubt they are not enough mature to check ss .

Well, as i said, mods can whisper someone and initiate ss tests.

Another suggestion i had in the past was so anyone could pause (without impacting game) and start a ss test. Not sure if itll be workable though since in the end a mod has to make sure all ss are sent.

Anyone should be able to pause and tell others that a ss test is happening now when a mod whispers him. I just meant that amongst everyone in the game, someone who is usually not a troll and does not generally have a negative image will be asked to help out, so peeps are more likely to cooperate more smoothly despite the rules.

Well @nabo., still need mods online , so no mods online no ss test.
Also, most of part , when mods online, they usualy play so this don't really matter.

hey art)y and other mods, Q. Is it too much technical work, to make SS tests mandatory in each game. so it would be 1 ss test for each game played

and make an account that all mods have access to, to send the ss too, for later review upon request ?

The issue isnt a technical aspect but a timely one. I would assume players dont wanna spend doing an SS test each game considering how not tech-savy most of the players are.

Regarding sending the SS, there's a LIHL forum group the PM will be sent to (as it currently is, cough).

another issue is for example i dont have any fucking ideea how to sent a screenshit to someone except print, ctrl+v in paint, save as and upload it on tinypic.com, i would like to know if thats is ok if i will be in a game where ss test is required.

print, ctrl+v into paint, save ... then come to ent-forum, click "private message", NEW PM, click "LIHL-Moderators" at the side and then Add. Now scroll down and click "add files". Upload the picture you did save. Click "submit".
