I know it sounds stupid but just to be sure. You are opening .exe with Admin priveleges right? It needs to have priority.

@shameless
mine doesn't show red unless i turn my router off. my icon stays the same with or without internet because im wired to my router, so if my router is still on, im still connected to my network. the only difference it would say on my screen is "no internet access" once i move my mouse over the icon. mb cuz im on windows 7 still i dunno.

Re: why gproxy doesnt work when we need it
I just had this same problem yesterday (using Gproxy as well). Right when the waiting for host disconnect box came up, I immediately went to my laptop (I play WC on my desktop), and my internet was uninterrupted. From the game, I was sent straight to the chat lobby, without being disconnected from BNet, which is usually the case if losing internet connection.

i was just a little mad, that you signed 2 following games, knowing that you had gproxy issues zzz
resulting in 1,5 hours wasted gaming from my side. please don't do that who ever experience such issues out there.

Re: why gproxy doesnt work when we need it
u can be disconnected from bnet, and still be connected to the ent27/28 bot playing ur game.
the reverse can be true, if u lose ur connection to the bot, u do not necessarily lose ur bnet connection or internet.
if u lose ur internet i will disconnect from bnet, but still can reconnect to the bot and resume ur game, assuming u come b within 180sec, gproxy doesnt bug and ur not booted from the game.
the best for lihl is for @uakf.b to work on an update to gproxy to fix all bugs, i think he is capable since he is ghost admin.
i have already suggested in the past.
also regardless of gproxy bugs,
you should make sure ur connection is trouble free.
it starts from ur modem ( check for noise on the line, signal strength, avoid coax spliters ... )
the modem has also an ip, different from ur internet ip, to access it u need know the modem ip.
then u move on to ur router, if u use torrent or have heavy streaming for multiple clients, u need a router with enough juice on the cpu.
its beyond the average joe but i can post a helpful guide in layman terms if people are interested.

Re: why gproxy doesnt work when we need it
I have had the same problem, while internet was working (using wireless usb-modem to connect to router). After a few dc's i just tried to take out the USB-modem from the PC and plug it in again. And voilá, I was reconnected with proxy.
Note that internet wifi was working fine all the time for other units (Cellphone, laptop etc) but got some kind of drops on my PC.
