Delays

Hello all,

The previous delay rule (120 value limit) was removed when we updated the new map because it was part of the clog rule.

Recently after obsing several lihl games, I am seeing few players asking in lobby before game, "No delays?" "Clean game?" etc for a gentlemen agreement.

Building delays is a legit strategy, however, too much "dead value" can be seen "unskillful" since the game is less about who holds better based on towers, but who leaks faster/slower delaying. Building high value delays such as hydras or slow aura delays such as polar/mag or upgraded tot to stall and leak slow because one clearly knows he will not hold or have crappy towers is bleh imo.

This topic is NOT about whether building delays is a strat or not, but to know what this league prefers and thinks is reasonable.

Vote your personal option and based on the result, we will make a rule if necessary.

i would still like to keep delays for dd AND delay for pro leaks.. like if you want to send 15, try leaking 12 , 13, 14 etc..

+1 to going back to making the max delay/split value limit to 120 for LIHL games. For example, Magnataur/Hydra delay really changes the dynamic of the game. While it is a very viable strategy, I believe it's best to have some sort of limitation.

By the way, I was not able to vote in the poll... there was no option.

i dont fell like the entire league should vote on this
only the top and old players that understand all on this game

You want an oligopoly?

The poll is to see what everyone thinks. All lihl players can have their vote. Once poll is over, lihl mods will make a decision.

Because of your over the top delays and this is why there is a thread about it. This is just like how clogging used to be it is just a revision to make it work with the new map.

wrong point
some old player liked delay
recently i has played many games
only diablo_,ba_fail,brave denied delay
(im not talking about 11,12,13,14 delay talking about 'race' lv delay)

Fair amount of votes so far. I dont think we need to drag this topic till next week.

Poll will close this weekend and after a discussion with staff, we will decide which options to go with.

As vote suggests,

Delays will be restricted to 120 value.

Added two rules:

• Do not build over 120 value of delay towers.
• Do not intentionally split towers on sending levels.
