The balance is necessary. Otherwise you have a handful of skills that become the meta because they are so strong. The rest of the skills dont get picked and you lose the variety component of the game. Most of the balances arise from giving a skill that was meant to be on melee to a ranged hero. They make sense. If anything is nerfed too much in the community's opinion I'd love to see them join the discussion on the map making forum. Quite possibly their opinion will be shared with others and a change would occur for the subsequent patch.

10 hero draft is better for 4 skill mode. 20 is better for 6 skill imo.

-sdd2 is ok. Not sure about balance off and backdooring is allowed at ent.

    yea forget about the anti-backdoor. Let's test with 20 heroes. 10 is just too few.

    When is it going to be implemented?

    10 is not just too few. It's actually 11 heroes drafted in sd. We play 11 hero draft on 4 skill and it's great. If you cant craft a 4 skill hero from 11 heroes (44 skills) you've got problems. Keep the 4 skill lod bot simple so dota players can understand it and enjoy it. Another nice thing about standard draft is no one can take your hero or have the same skills you have. Also keep in mind you can swap heroes. There's usually one switch per game where someone simply asks another player to swap. If the other player agrees they just tell each other what skills they want, what hero to take and swap after.
