Trial Vouches

Postby TinSoldier » Tue Dec 01, 2015 6:43 pm

In light of recent events, I was hoping we could get some clarification on trial vouches. I don't have an opinion on any of the recent unvouch requests happening but I am curious about the process of unvouching people on a trial vouch. What exactly is the process? And what difference is there in the process for someone who is on a trial vouch vs someone who has already played a few seasons.

The way it seems to me now, it makes me hesitant to !support new vouches when I am under the impression that it would be difficult and tedious to unvouch them during their trial period if they prove themselves to be not ready yet for the league.

I'll leave the details up to the higher powers, but there should be a set time for a trial vouch period the same way people have probation when they start a new job (maybe thats only a Canadian thing?) anyway 30 days, 60 days 90 days whatever the mods feel is reasonable, or they can set the trial vouch period case by case basis.

In regards to the unvouch process, if several replays need to be collected to unvouch a veteran player then for trials it should work the same way vouching works...5 players speaking out against them through word of mouth. If mods feel that is being abused and people are getting their friends together to gank someone out of the league then they can use their own discretion of course.

My ideas/suggestions:
- trial 2 weeks, within trial, player must make at least 28 games
- to unvouch u need to prove any 3 major foults made in one week (major foults: no king heal, ruined yolo, not following advices (only smart ones what is not obvious even on lihl), any kind of real tk, constant insulting or constant "poisoning" behavior ( hope u know what i mean :) );
- unvouch should be supported by 3 players
