SWAT: Aftermath

Postby teller55 » Sun Jul 01, 2012 6:22 pm

Hello,

I just noticed that your bot: ENT24: SWAT Aftermath is hosting a pretty old version of Swat. Just thought that I'd let you know in case you want to update it. The most current version can be found at the official Swat: Aftermath forum: Here

The most current version thread is usually named: Latest Version P12#### (Community Update)

The most current version as of July 1, 2012 is found here: SwatAfterP120609 (Released 2012 June 09)

Thank you!

Thank you for your hearing and understanding
I know you already host it, I was just letting you know the version currently autohosted is out-of-date, just thought I'd let you know :)

Hi,

There has been a new version of SWAT: Aftermath released recently and I was wondering if you could use the updated map for your bots. The newest version can be found here: http://redscull.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=7259

Thanks

sorry be annoying , but in site the game list is not updating correctly
for example , the site show [ENT] SWAT Aftermath #1 by default when not updated right
when a game is #13 for example

he is showing [ENT] SWAT Aftermath #1 empty by default (not all time , but ... )

Um. Apparently the old server (before the transfer) was restarted and the auto-restart script started all the bots on the old server. So they started updating (and also got banned from Battle.net, but old server isn't in use anymore so that's ok). Pretty funny :P

Edit: Wait, now I remember, I restarted it because it was running out of memory for some reason.

Hey uakf.b, a new version of Swat out. I see you updated the bot to autohost the test version, so I just wanted to let you know that the bug-fix version is out now. There might have to be 1 more release to clean up a tool-tip and a rare glitch, but he might just push that into the next version later on. But the one currently hosted, P121115, is pretty buggy.

Thanks!

(Basically the developer releases a version, we bug test it and he re-releases a couple days later with the fixes/balances, so this is that fixed version.)

Your link doesn't work. And I don't look at this forum, so you should post in Suggestions. Either way I think I updated it already, right?

I know, I was wondering how you updated it without knowing a new version was released on the 15th :O

Hm, he moved his maps to a new folder in his Dropbox, damn him! lol

I would hold off for a day or so, new version is bug free yet. I'll keep you posted :)
