Yoshi Tag

Postby Evil_Hacker » Wed Mar 27, 2013 9:41 am

considered adding the map Yoshi Tag to your guys bot? the map can be found at makemehost.com
CONS: all the map is in not in english and most of the map are glitch in some way. the version i would suggest is v2.5c.
if you do add the map, i would suggest not doing full house, but do a 3v6 or 2v4. i personally like the 2v4.
here are some basic rule you might want to consider
1) No TK
2) first person to ping location get that base
3) no camping
4) no making dry bone
5) no towering viloes base (although this may vary depending on where the viloes build their base.)

these are my personally rule when i host this game but feel free to change or add something.

I'm all for it, I could easily moderate this game. Not only that, but it has gotten more popular in recent times. The rules are very logical and well thought out too. I used to play Yoshi Tag all the time. If you institute this I'll moderate it for sure. Only rule I don't agree with is #2 because we'd get ban requests out the ass for this if rule number two was put into play.

If it were hosted, I'd definitely play it. I agree with karasu. though, if it gets hosted, rule #2 shouldn't be included.

Yo man, you'll have to hit me up if you play it. One last thing, you should close the last 4 slots on the yoshi team and 2 slots on viloe if you institute this game into the hosting rotation. 4 yoshis vs. 2 viloes is the combination of choice whenever I play on make me host, 4v2. This would definitely bring more people to the community.

My clan plays Yoshi Tag often, its just a warning for the version he suggested has a buttload of cheats and its not even funny, and everyone knew about it when I played that version, it ruined the whole experience, sure we can have admins kick or ban the people using the cheat but by the time we kick that player, the game would already be ruined (some of those cheats are ridiculous and irreversible.)

So if you guys plan on autohosting Yoshi Tag, please consider another version, I believe v2.5c isn't even in english, try looking at Yoshi Tag v3.0 winter I in my opinion think that's the best choice to host.

I was aware of cheats being in one version, but I didn't know which. I'll look for 3.0 winter though.

I've attached the map to this post. It was previously hacked, but I spent a couple minutes removing the cheatpack. Map isn't in English, however.
