and the difference to playing shit rolls compared to archer aqua in hpgmcb prophet is? Hybrid has always been one of the most popular in votes of game modes in lihl(fun weeks,and it´s been quite high on tournament preferences also if I dont remember wrong), and if there are several modes(3+) im quite sure it would end up on the list once again if the players in the league were allowed to vote. For example the list above with 6 modes if that was decided, it wouldnt be that many games hybrid, and the rule would still be the same I guess, if all players in the game agrees to play something else, it could be done.

if all we do is play default prophet... then what separates us from 1200+ bot? some people keep mentioning that lihl would lose activity if things changed.. well i say good riddance to them then, i want to see the league broaden its horizons with different modes and challenges and custom games... that's the entire point of in-house games.

Tbh i would like different modes to. BUT i would like to be able to get a game more than i would like diff modes

Fun weeks have always failed in activity lately (or 95% of the games were played with prophet anyway). Other modes simply aren't popular enough and I can totally understand it. Fixed builders are pretty stale and simply always the same, Hybrid on the other hand lacks a big part of the strategy like planning and optimizing your build, doing calls based on the other team's towers etc.

In my opinion, this is a competitive league, in most parts anyway. So from that knowledge i would say my best guess is, that the thing that scares people from playing " fun weeks " is the elo loss most of all. so here is a suggestion to maybe fix our little problem.
Since it is, as it is called " Fun " week, it should be just that, a week where we just have fun games and enjoy each others company in gaming. Therefore i will suggest, if it is possible at all, to REMOVE elo/ranking whatever you might call it during fun week. ?

if everybody didnt notice. this vote is exactly what i intended to happen. majority of you voted no against the suggestion, which in turn keeps the rule the same... because it was 'Majority Vote'... imagine if only 1 person said yes and boom the rule is changed.. thats how it feels when choosing mode.
