Hi i just want to ask why it takes so long for players to get vouched, due asking for the procedure

If mods are too busy in real life you may allow me to check their replays and i will give an overall review of behavior / skill / knowledge and based on that the mods can decide if they either deny or vouch him/her (trial or permanent) - doesnt mean the other possibilities (like 5 players vouching for one) wont count anymore

I usually try to play LIHL during work so i can also check replays, because theres not a single game ongoing since days/weeks during this time - if you ask why i dont do it without giving me this certain right, then my answer is that it still is some work to check replays they applied, random replays and chat from the games etc.

As far i remembered mods and admins wanted to give me special rights or a special position as a mod in the past for the vouching task (because i brought quite many or probably most players into LIHL since season 1), but i doubt it still counts ... or it does?

If mods or admins disagree you may lock the topic, though its only a proposal to help

You can just provide your feedback in the applications based on the replays posted like I have been doing. If you want the abilities you ask for here, you will most likely have to apply to be an LIHL mod.

I also am not sure how we have so many mods, and pretty much only RadiantCrystal doing anything. Either do the job or resign to make room for new mods that will. I brought this issue up quite a few times as well.

Hi actually i dont need to be a mod for this!

If the current mods confirm that my opinion in the vouching procedure counts as much as the entire league (in the past even a former LIHL mod told that my opinion in the vouching procedure counts as much as 20 players in LIHL) then it still saves them the work to check replays etc. - thus asking for this special right

Of course sometimes i cant tell if they are ready or good enough for this league, therefore the mods have the final decision in this case

But if im sure they are good enough for at least a trial or getting permanent vouched (or getting denied) then ill mention it either and i demand that the mods count my decision as final one in this case, except they got good reasons to be against it - which i greatly doubt.

As i mentioned at my first posting i will consider the behavior too, so i assume that i get this certain "right" now and my decision count as final one if im certain? Except im unsure and therefore mods can decide (after basing their opinion from my review or check their replays on their own)

As admin you should outvote the mods here in this case, but i doubt that they wont be against it haha - but to be sure is always safer!

If yes i will start to probably tomorrow, but i will also check also "random" replays from them in the past (in case of behavior, knowledge, skill, leading a team etc) - im not fond of counting the attached replays only for that.

If mods don't find a good reason to go against the vouch of course they can accept your reviews as a final decision. However, this does not mean they don't need to do the work themselves as they will be the ones responsible for the vouches not you. If they find flaws in gameplays or behaviours they are free to deny the application even if you support it, with appropriate reasoning of course. I hope I made myself clear on this case>?

Thats the reason i started this topic to ensure that the mods count my decision as final if im certain of the player skill and behaviour, if im unsure then they can decide weither to apply or deny the player. If another mod or 5 LIHL players vouch for him/her, then i dont have to check the applying player anyways.

Therefore i also checked the current mod list for LIHL and give my opinion of what they would probably think of this idea - if im wrong with my "guessed" opinion, then please mention it. Of course other players fell free to give their opinion here of my proposal

Well if one mod is against it, then it wont work anyways except an admin outvote them. But the reason i started this topic is also that i doubt anyone will be against this idea, else i wouldnt consider it to start with it

Edit: The only reason which might be a problem is either when you all think im too bad to evaluate other players or when i give a fake opinion due the fact that i know the applying player

This exactly, if you want a decisive roll in accepting/rejecting vouches, simply apply for lihl mod. If not, your reviews will be taken as supporting evidence but not as a final call.

Not all lihl mods are always active. Their activity varies. Need more consistency, but it is how it is currently.

To play in LIHL, you must be vouched. To begin the process of being vouched, please post a topic in the Vouch Requests forum with the title account@east and the following format below. Within a five days window, at least five vouched players or a moderator must vouch for you in order to get your application approved for a trial period (Only vouches vouching for one's LTD skill/knowledge will be counted. Other comments will be considered as feedbacks). However, if five vouched players or a moderator deny your application with legitimate reasons, your application will be denied. Make sure to read the LIHL Guide on the wiki before applying as it describes important procedures.

Please read the underlined bolded part. A simple "He is a nice guy" "I support" will not always be considered as an official "voucher".

As for your opinion of what YOU THINK others will THINK... why should I care?...I will care about your opinion regarding a matter or topic of discussion...but I will not care what you think others will think...you are not them. Speak for yourself only. Others can speak for themselves.

Yes, i noticed it a few while ago (especially at the vouching section), yet i didnt care though - the reason i posted it was also to get more active players into LIHL due the fact that i couldnt get a game ongoing for a while during my time (except its in the evening where most players log in), as i saw that quite a few are trying to get into the league since a while

I think my case will be similar as the current mods, who are more or less inactive and therefore, real life goes first for me and it wont help you, me or anyone else if i be as "inactive" as some of the mods.

Except in case of vouching procedure where i only open some replays, watch it every time i like to and give an overview (which i can do easily at work) ... if theres a possibility for a "special mod" only for the case of vouching procedure (therefore to allow players only to play LIHL games), then i will consider to apply. Though certain players could cancel games in LIHL (like Achilles for example), should be possible in this case too or?

Well i dont mind talking about this matter at the chat or ingame (when im online of course), maybe we'll find something - maybe i can do more than that, though what bothers me is that i cant confirm to be more active than the current mods so far haha

Checking replays and writing an opinion / teaching them what they should build / do / mistakes they did is something i enjoy(ed) to do, i even teached several or many players into LIHL with 0 knowledge or ent18 knowledge (as most of you probably know) in the league.

To be honest, most applicants should be denied/accepted quite fast (e.g. got 5 vouches) but mods are to busy or whatever to do it.
I dont see how your support will help here.
Doesnt matter you also say they should be vouched, as long as mods arent around to do it

To be honest, I think it's ridiculous that people have applied for LIHL on january 20 and still haven't even received an answer from a mod. Vouches are the most important job for a moderator, because it is the future of the league. The big group of moderators who are all inactive just kills the league atm. We are making 5 potential vouches wait (who could have practiced for the new season) and are perhaps scaring off any people who wanna get in, because they see it takes literally weeks to just get a response.

I can do a proposal to make it better: I have plenty of experience in moderating in the LIHL, I check the forum daily and willing to do the day-to-day jobs but not with this huge group of moderators here. So if we can cut down the group to 2 or 3 daily active moderators I am in.
