dc suggestion

as it stands, no1 reports ppl as it's just drama. who was winning? is it fair to report him, as he'll report me if I ever dc? as a result no1 reports dcs unless they dislike som1/are disliked.

my suggestion is to have dcs have an auto-dc penalty. autoban doesn't work on LIHL, but autodc can.

This suggestion has been thought and discussed internally and publicly already.

Although it could potentially reduce drama, not all dcs do get reported for valid reasons.

@nabo. those reasons can be accounted for in the program, and if necessary appealed. atm dc pen is the exception, the rule not being reported. if there are a few times not to dc pen, can consider only auto dc pen after 1 min etc.
the current situation is stupid.

furthermore, the answer is 9 yes 8 no on that poll. so why not implement.

your reasoning is terrible, fyi. sexyy is right in this regard - consistency is important. saying "oh you dc more so your penalties are high" is stupid. they will have dc penalties prior. this isn't a ban situation, it's a dc.... and right now it's purely a popularity issue. if you report som1, every1 will flame you and ride your every lag/akf.

Actually eld, i suggested to automate dc penalties long before sexyy. Internal vote amongst staff, however, concluded we will not automate dc penalties. I will though think about it again.
