But should depende of the % played of the game... something like 90,95%. If a player disconnected at 90%/95% of the game played should count the team result (win/lose).

But is someone who only played like "20% of the game" get win or a lose with that is not fair at all. People would look with another eyes players with stats:
win: 7
lost: 2
dc: 50

you know originally i was going to suggest we make a time limit like if you leave or d/c within the first 15-20 min thn you get automatic loss unless w/l has already been determined. but i think using a % of game played system would be much more effective and accurate.
and i suggested a d/c stat or dnf stat before here but we already have that.

I've played a game, where I was clinkz and 4 of my team mates left after feeding. I farmed and back door towers so that 10 minutes later i had an AC, treads, rapier, rapier tp scroll aegis.
I was down 1 rax but i back doored their entire base by playing hit and run.

i got mega creeps and than the other team raged at me for back dooring and they votekicked me out of the game.

funny thing is, after i got kicked downloaded the replay and saw that after they kicked me, they tried to 3 man push down mid. the mega creeps destroyed the 2 defending heroes and killed the throne giving me the win.

point is, although it was 5v0, i still won and i deserved every bit of win. I understand people cant get votekicked anymore if your the last player but in the above scenario, i still would have won if I left instead of getting vote kicked.
theres too many grey areas in this policy

Win/loss should be counted

Leave voluntarily be counted as a loss.

D/C game is not counted at all perhaps?? or is counted as a tie or neutral thing??

I didnt read all the posts just the first few so sorry if this is off topic now or was already suggested.

You don't need cdkeys for gproxy or a password. Well at least the version. I use you dont

I use 1.10 it also allows you to log into bnet so you don't have to use local area network

I use this proxxy as well, the only flaw i find is that if you attempt to join a game that doesn't exist you will DC from b.net.
But i definitely like this version over connecting via LAN, also you can w/ without alt tabbing to cmd prompt in this version.

i use this version too, game filter in normal one is awful, u can't join the game fast. but yeah, the d/c thing is annoying

What it does, if I remember correctly, is it attaches itself to your Battle.net realm and protects you from drops. In my experience it's always been less stable (hence the drops from battle.net when you type in the game name wrong.)

the only thing is if d/c doesnt count it will get abused. all you would have to do is unplug your router if your losing or having a bad start and they dont count. this would be a bad thing lol.

It may positively or negatively affect your team when there is a leaver or disconnection. Leavers should get a loss (whether u leave due to life problems or u leave end of game). If the team does win after a leaver, it simply means they outplayed using the left available resources to win the game. U "voluntarily" left.

Disconnections can be on purpose plugpulls or technical dc. Elo gain/loss calculations r done start of game...so lets not touch that. But should all ppl who dc get or lose elo? If possible, we can make it such that people gain elo or lose elo depending on their game stay percentage of that certain game they dc(game end time vs dc time). Lets say dc before 50% of the game,elo does not count; dc after 50%, elo counts. For instance, game was 30minutes long. U dc at 14min or before, the game wont count. U dc at 16min or later game will count win or loss.

Lets suppose someone abuses plugpull. If he pps and his team actually loses some time after, it means game was probably done, so he will get a loss. But if his team pulls off after this leaver and wins because of his item or less leak or w.e and his leavin had some impact and his team win soon after...he will get the win. But if it took quite some time and his team won not bcz of the immidiate less leaks or item advantage...leaver will probably not get the win depending on game duration.

For the scenario where u did a lot of work...n u dc..n ur team wins...if u do dc n u contributed greatly to the team win...ur team should win soon after u dc anyway, so it will count.

In starcraft 2 people get an economical bonus when a player leaves could legion and dota do the same? auto loss for the leaver also
