CD-key changer for war3 ROC freezes

My friend had a hard time activating his war3...

1. Anyone ever experienced freezing when changing CD-key for ROC?

2. Is it because his war 3 is Chinese version?

3. Do we have to activate ROC before Frozen Throne?

PS. We tried Regfixer already and he can change CD-key for FT but not ROC... so stucked

Did he have installed wc3 game or its just copy ? I got the same problem before and think its cause the game is copy not installed.

@Lord-Miles it was a copy.. but it worked on his FT. What exactly was the problem u had before? freezing also?

Yeah it just freeze and say program stopped working.
