DOTA & DOTA Lod - switch with heroes that left the game

Postby Burnt » Thu Mar 03, 2016 7:40 pm

Hello,

Sometimes winning games are ruined when the most farmed/fed hero, or for Lod, the hero with best skill builds leaves the game for some reason.

I know this is a little idealistic and probably hard to implement. But in case a teammate drops/leaves or gets votekicked, is it possible to enable a "switch" function to give up the existing hero and use that leaver's hero (while being able to buy items for him)?

Thanks,

Here is a good example: https://entgaming.net/findstats.php?id=7350835

I was dropped @ min 35 with octarine core, travel, ghost, point booster and bottle and k/d of 14-1. Brown (with lowest k/d) could've swapped me and abandon his own hero to continue our momentum and ultimately to increase the chance of winning.

@Burnt

I might be wrong, but wouldn't that be map-related?

@Burnt

Have you tried adressing mapmakers?

Map-sided.
    Information, Rules, Guides and everything else you need to know about ENT is on the ENT Wiki.

It is possible but all comes down to the map makers.
Having an unstable internet connection or a high risk of lagging out? Are you tired of losing a won game because you disconnected?
    Do not worry, there are solutions to solve your problem!
    • ENT Connect is a on LAN connection based reconnection tool (no cd-keys needed).
    • GProxy++(Varlock) is a reconnection tool for the battle.net with an external prompt.
    • GProxy++ DLL is a reconnection plugin for battle.net (Recommended).
