Unpause protocol

Postby dweiler » Tue Mar 15, 2016 4:47 pm

I am curious if a protocol on unpausing the game is wanted. The suggestion is as follows.

If a game is paused, the game can only be unpaused again after all players have shown they are ready by writing 'ready'

Either that or game can only begin if a person from each team says we all ready or something?

Although I do not think unpausing had been a big issue since such basic team communication is expected in a league, a rule like this may prevent continuing a game while someone is still afk.

For me:
If the game does get unpaused while someone is still afk and others dont realize, I think the "team" is penalized anyway. It is either that the team checks up on everyone before unpausing or someone clearly notes he is going to go afk for a bit o brb on all chat. Think such communication is part of the game and not necessarily needed to be ensured through rules.

i think 1 person from each team should say ready, like it is currently the case.

I totally agree!. I mean, we've just had 1 case of drama/report cause of this in i don't know how long. It really isn't a big deal in our daily games. Normally players will just say " we still have 1 afk " and the game continues to be paused. The players that goes afk without informing their team, should just recieve some sort of punishment. no need to bury our heads with rules on top of rules on top of more rules.

I think "More rule makes more drama."

need simple rules.
1.Play like man.
2.Don;t cry if u win or lose .

That is enough.
