Re: elo lose for draw
I don't get it, why did you leave before game was drawn? What did you expect to happen?

Re: elo lose for draw
I'm not totally happy with how this case was handled. Basically a guy from enemy team drops, with no gproxy (understandable, most people don't have gproxy lately with the patch), and most people beging a draw vote. Somebody is retarded and leaves before draw is complete, which creates a chain-leaving since people want to get into the new game that's about to come up.
The game ends up being a loss for west, even though it was a guy from east who dc'ed, and the game never played out? I mean west was behind, for sure, but this way we didn't even get a chance to play it out. Maybe enemies fail send. Maybe we hold 15 and win 17. The game was by no means over, and we still had a shot. We probably went from 10-25% win chance down to 0 %. Not really fair imo.
Btw I don't really care about the loss in 1 game, shit happens, but I think the principle this case is wrong. If anything punish the first person leaving before draw, or punish the dc'er with dc-pen. Punishing the entirety of team west even though some of us drawed and waited patiently me no likey

Re: elo lose for draw
As I said, we can't fix the game. If you want it you will have to ask the higher ups and we can hand out bans instead, but Ent generally doesn't fix games/stats manually.
Also, you left 7 seconds after the first person left the game (and 14 seconds after the dc), that's not what I would call "waiting patiently".

Re: elo lose for draw
By patiently I mean wait for a draw instead of leaving prematurely. As soon as a couple players starting leaving, everybody left, west and east alike. I just think it's wrong that 1 team get's a loss for an unfinished game. So if last remaining player had been from west, we would have free win too? Is this the norm in this rare case? Again it's just the principle that bugs me a bit
Re: elo lose for draw
Option 1: Unvouch all players except disconnecting one, cause he just disconnected. The 6 players who left prematurely broke the rule of leaving before game ended, the last person didn't draw a game that was supposed to be drawn. (Option 1.1. all this plus change outcome of game and apply dc-penalty to disconnector).
Option 2: Keep it as it is.
If a whole team cannot notice that the game hasn't been drawn and leave prematurely, then deal with the consequences. The last player could have been afk, so the loss could have even happened without ill intent.
Don't blame the "snowball"-effect of 1st leaving and the rest following mindlessly. You are the only one responsible for your actions. That's like voting !yes on a votekick, because first person already typed !yes. Check the situation, act accordingly. Wanting ELO-adjustment _AND_ no unvouch is wishful thinking. Rules have been broken, because of careless behaviour. Either take the ELO-punishment or the unvouch as a lesson. Handing out no punishment will prolly just encourage cases like this to happen again and then demanding the same.

Just my 2 cents. Let's see if the "Your opinion doesn't matter cause you are no part of the league"-card is going to be played
And if my analysis of this group is correct, then at least one gonna say exactly that for troll reasons

Re: elo lose for draw
Maybe the loss was not fair, but there is a reason we say you should not leave the game before it is played out or drawn. We can't fix the outcome and it has always been a policy of ENT to not fix game outcomes unless extraordinary circumstances. You all being so stupid to leave the game before draw isn't such a circumstance. So this is just a case of bad luck.
You don't stop playing because you grow old; you grow old because you stop playing.
