Re: Poll about Healbycolor
imo unless ent mod, why should we care about his ban dodge, he can not do it in LIHL anyways and that's not representative of his game behavior;
i mean, dodge ban is pretty soft compare to mh, and dont rly matter in this case.

Re: Poll about Healbycolor
How am I talking myself out of anything? I admitted the things that I did. I am stating exactly how it went. I am sorry that it isn't appealing to some people. In no way am I trying to justify or say why I already said I was wrong.... @jamo
Side note: In my post for re-apply I had almost full support now votes are 8 for yes 11 for no pretty hilarious how that came to be.

This is pretty much how I felt about it. Yes it is wrong but not even comparable to the mh. either or a wrong is a wrong I just kinda feel like some of the ent staff members try to make me look all bad but don't ever mention anything positive so its hard to not get defensive.

I appreciate you waiting I do. At this point voting is for the birds because I would need like 80% towards the yes. pretty much what I was told before I reapplied.

Re: Poll about Healbycolor
What I meant specifically in this thread was this sentence:
I might have gotten that one wrong, then I am sorry. But to me it sounded like you think you can play with words here not saying that you are banned because of maphack but because of a failed SS test.
I admit that I don't really know you, I remember your name from 1200+, but I cannot connect it with any specific memories. So my judgement comes from how this case evolved and what you and other people write here. And from this, I just cannot believe you will not do it again, sorry, because I think you do not take this matter serious enough. You also think this poll is "pretty hilarious", so...

Re: Poll about Healbycolor
The poll is funny perhaps look at my application in the actual vouch request. Then you would see why I said its hilarious. I don't know you either but it seems that you just skim over this topic and give your opinion on the matter when you have not fully looked into statements which many people do that. Once again this is not me justifying anything for the skimmers.

Re: Poll about Healbycolor
I know why you think it's a funny poll, of course I read the other thread. And there are easy ways to describe this. For example it's easier to just click a button than wrting an opinion something about it. So look at that thread and see artichoke's post and you will also see that 4 people thanked him for that post, so it's not like nobody cared. Maybe many people also didn't want to publicly write that they don't want you back in the league, I don't know. From my side I can say that I didn't write anything there, because I didn't feel like I could judge that case adequately and I wanted to let others decide. I also didn't think I should vote here, not knowing what exactly has happened. In the last days though, I read ALL that related topics and also talked to people during games so that I think, I am able to have a proper opinion. And since it felt wrong for me to just vote without saying why, I chose to explain my vote here. So, I hope to have concinved you that I take a vote like this seriously and I am not just skimming over the topic.
edit: btw, I am not thinking this is a point of no return. I just think for how serious all MH and dodge matters are taken, you cannot expect to be vouched again after 5 or 6 months.

Re: Poll about Healbycolor
I'm either or in your case. You probably don't remember this, but you did teach me ltd way back in the day.
Question: I don't recall where i read this, but did you get a new computer?
Another note: I know hbc had mh on your computer in the past, so you can't convince me otherwise about that. Though whether you used it during game or not, I have to say yes, you did, based on the screenshot that got your removed (whether a bug or not, it has yet to be recreated by anyone, until then i will gladly apologize for the accusation).

@Healbycolor @Don_Killuminati
LIHL is a league which is a division, but not independent of ENT, if you read the rules carefully you will notice the following:
Attention
The general rules apply to any game hosted by ENT except abrogated by game specific rules. Violating them might result in a warning or ban.
Then in general rules it states:
General Rules:
Do not dodge your bans. Dodging is defined as playing on a different account while being banned on another account, often by a (purposely triggered) change of the IP. Dodging is considered a major offense equal to maphacking.
So the statements:
and
are rather invalid and careless

Re: Poll about Healbycolor
Well I already posted my opinion in the other thread but I will post here too I suppose. HBC was always friendly and helpful to me on 1200 when we played few games together before I was in LIHL. Also I don't think I would be in the league today if he didn't support my vouch request I understand where people are coming from about maphacking being one of the most despicable things a player in the league can do. However as someone who has probably been unvouched a combined total of like 3 weeks just for this season even those small bans are tough for me as i love the league and to play with all of you. For HBC he has been gone for MONTHS and I would find it hard to believe that he would consider using maphack again given how much effort it has taken him to even be considered letting back into the league and given how much effort and ridicule he has put himself through to be vouched back.
In HBC's case, as a new vouch he was a good player to learn the game from and always friendly/helpful I think overall he would have a positive impact on the league and I would look forward to seeing him back in LIHL.

I understand that a dodge result of ban, on all ent bots lihl including, and i'm not saying the opposite that what u said ;
But i guess, in this case , if lihl mods asking to lihl community point, it's more to ppl trusting him about mh then dodge ban,
i mean, if i launch wc3, go bnet, lihl chanel, looking for a game, and i see someone who dodge his ban in the past, signed, that wont affect me and i dont think that can affect anyone in the league ;
but regarding mh, that's not the same, there is a 'trust' factor who is not affected by dodge ban but more about mh;
as i said previously, imo he wont mh anymore since he got long ban + work to get vouch again.
in my opinion, if community decide to dont let him back, that's gonna be more about a punishment for his mh offense, than a 'trust' issue.
P.S: wondering if i can be in lihl section group so i can vote, thx

Re: Poll about Healbycolor
HBC, I think almost everyone agrees that you are a nice and friendly player (besides that mh and lying stuff ...) who has done a lot for LIHL in the past. But maphacking in a small league where you know every other player quite well is just such a no-go. You basically abused everyone's trust and spit on the fundamental principles of the whole league.
Personally I think a maphacker should never be allowed to join LIHL again, but if the majority (at least 80%, personally I would even say 90%+) of the players would support you I would also be ok to vouch you again. You basically lost your right to be in LIHL when you cheated (and lied) on all of us, so if there are more than a few people being against accepting you, there's no reason why they should have to "suffer" from you joining again.
@matdas it's no accusation as HBC already admitted that he indeed used maphack
