I love how it is being ignored that palsgraf lied to the sentinel team to get them to vote. Because they couldn't see scourge chat to know if it was true or not. Telling somone back is not helping them. Saying hey xyz is mia. You might want yo back just in case is help. He was being told to back inbetween being yelled at and being vk abused. Honestly, if that was me. I would have told you all to f off and neutraled until I felt ready and able to fight. Instead of backing away from a neutral that had like maybe two hits left on it that gives a nice amount of gold. Instead yo y said stop neutraling and he instantly backed away. That's not the within a reasonable amount of time as you said. That's pretty instantly. Its awefully bigoted to think that everyone has to know basic or passable english to play ent. We play people from around the world. And a lot of players DO NOT KNOW ENGLISH nor speak it. Using that as a defense is laughable at best deplorable at worst. How childish is it to go and try to throw mud at someone else who is stating only facts from a game you raged and abused your power and someone filed a complaint against you. Virushunter has had some issues and he's been addressed about them and has corrected them. So for yoy to bring up past things is a ridiculous attempt to divert attention from you to him. Quite honestly its deplorable that an ent staff member felt the need to resort to such childish antics. I'm glad virus refused to degrade himself to your level and do the same back. Or he would have been included in my earlier statement. Fact is. You abused your power, claimed several lies in game and then on this post to try to cover it. Instead of manning up and owning your mistake. You compiled it and made it a big show. You constantly contradict yourself and then lie on top of it all. Own your mistake and accept the consequences of your actions like an ent staff member should.

Also. Personally I feel like this should be open to all to see. So members can all see what happens when a ent staff member abuses power. It will show the community that anyone who abuses their power won't have their rages and abuse swept under the rug.

Honestly, to me the whole "advice thing" should be that "advice". It doesn't mean you have the right to instruct them - it's ADVICE. If they want to roll lothar's first on lion instead of dagon like you advise, is not bannable. Same with healing, going back because som1 went mia 2 seconds ago who has history of neutral creeping, etc...

Looking over the facts palsgraf you actually have committed admin abuse, note the case of formadawgs where he told his ally to leave and that he'd unban him, he got demoted to sub-mod for admin abuse.

You told someone to leave and that you'd lift their ban, it's the same type of act no matter how you try to justify it.

He was demoted for this act which is essentially the same thing you told pink, like it or not that is abuse of administrator authority. Sorry man, but if you can't own up to this then sorry. EDIT: We demoted formadawgs for this, so let's wait for a decision.

Emotions and ad hominems aside, I do not believe that this situation warranted a ban for KungFuRandom.

It appears that Palsgraf was more concerned with winning that single game than upholding the proper rules (without bending the definitions of them) of ENT. My reasoning for this conclusion is that he did not ban the "feeding" player, preventing him from "ruining" more games in the future, but rather wanted him to be simply removed from the current game in order to attain a more favorable chance of winning.

I do not believe that it is fair to force a vote from a player either. If KungFuRandom does not believe that a player has broken a rule, regardless of whether or not everyone else believes this, he does not have to vote for that player to be kicked. The truth is that there are hundreds of "noob" players out there that, for some of us, do not meet there minimum of what is an acceptable skill-level in a DotA game. Does that mean that every single one of those players should be unanimously kicked from a game? No. It may be advised that if you'd like to play a game with a higher level of skill required, please try [ENT] DotA HR 1150+ apem #5. Because other than that, you are playing Russian roulette with player skills. And that's the point.

Furthermore, if a moderator is the victim of an offense, he should not be able to ban for that offense. The reasoning is quite simple: he has an interest in the outcome of that game and, therefore, is biased in his decision.

I have to say, I am with Virus, KungFuRandom and MoguL on this one.

You know, you can be banned for either not kicking a player, or kicking a player. This could be viewed as a 'damned if you do, damned if you don't situation'.

With no clear evidence of feeding intentionally, or in fact ruining a game (0-7 in 20 minutes is not 'game ruining',to mine or any other standards that I know of), I would have refused to kick the player as well. I would have had to be banned as well. If the admin had the power to kick from the game, that I know most staff do, he should have done that, rather than relied on a voting process, which apparently was not necissary.

I think we are cool, everyone has a common sense idea of what ENT Community means.. a good place to enjoy your fair game. One of the instruments to reach such goal is recognize our mistakes and Pals agree with some mistakes he did in this game. His power is revoked due to his behavior in this game. We will work together to ensure this is not gonna happen again.
