So, with 4.0.0.0104 coming to light, a lot of us have to come to a sort of disagreement on the changes that were made. Killing top middle was a big part, but so is the builder neutralization. I personally feel that it's ridiculous on top of raising the titan limit + the random illusion with the starter item, it's just too much. I mean looking at this in an everyday general ID gameplay, the titan's now have the upper hand and given the lack of ''skill'' within the community, I'd imagine it's even easier to win at being the titan.
Generally, I know it's not natural to revert an island defense version when it's still in progress but like I said, after talking to non-IDL players and getting a real opinions from players, I know the feeling is mutual with a good number of us. I'm hoping that if the poll goes through, by popular vote, the revert will be granted.
That being said, the poll is open 10 days for ID players to come forward, state a real opinion on the matter.

lol just put some placeholder terrain top mid and enable neutral towers to attack and disable extra experience on builder leave and this version isnt much more imbalanced than other versions
the op demono version was a lot more broken than this and it was running for a couple of months

While I do like the idea of neutralized buildings, it currently creates a problem.
-The titan can kill neutralized bases to gain xp and gold. Usually enough to instantly win the game. Is this what you want? Not me, and probably alot of others. Suicide or instantly lose any hopes of winning. Now it's lose any hopes of winning when titan starts to siege the shitbase.
I usually don't care about balance but this made it impossible to lose as titan now.
Anyone who doesn't have 100% winrate as titan in 1.0.4 sucks. I'm not joking, it's that ridiculous.
I want 1.0.3 back.

If the baser dies without trying to suicide, the titan instantly wins the game. He gets the base + the minion ezpz. Destroying 1 base is all it takes do destroy all other bases.
Why you ask?
If titan breaks 1 base, you need Megas to survive.
Turns out the large majority of pubs prefer to not spend their gold on g2l trying to get megas. Instead they will usually wait until they have enough wood to build a useless gold tower AND they prioritize that/these gold towers over super towers too. They sometimes don't spend their gold at all.
Atleast if people suicide in 1.0.3, the titan only get the minion and doesnt instantly wins (He still kinda do, having an extra minion significantly helps siege other bases + above quote remains true).
If you run away -The titan can kill your base to gain xp and gold. Usually enough to instantly win the game

You are literally the only person I've seen look at it that way. I do not agree that it's better than an OP/UP base. Not all base are equal and I don't see you removing other random sections of the map just because they're weaker than others.
Anyways, it's not like every version under 4.0 has been balanced. Like are you going to require .103 until water is back or the feed rates feel normal? What's the definition of polished? I'm not too sure how you'd even know about the feed rates anyways since unless it's on entid probably not going to play any games on that version.
So sure this version has issues but there's only pub games :. Balanced game would be nice but not required. A whole map would be nice though, looking at you @neco. Like top just looks retarded as fuck.

Not sure if this towards me or not but I'm going to guess it is. Well imo it would mean having a top middle of the map back and not an ocean. My issue isn't really with the feed rates as much as it is with part of the map missing.Stealer wrote:? What's the definition of polished?

Hmm, well it seems like I'll have to put in some temporary terrain with the next patch (should be out on the weekend). I'm sure you could wait a couple of days .

@aRt)Y @uakf.b We're 5 days into the revert now, I'd like to request for it to be granted now by popular vote and the fact the voting hasn't changed in ~2 days+.
To sum up the story (in-case you don't want to bother reading)
-Neco released a new version to ID, %104c which we don't enjoy nor support at this time.
-A lot of us have tried to make our case to him, and we either got ignored or discarded at first.
-I put in this poll to let the public decide if they would want an older version of the ID 4.0 beta series back up, majority goes to yes.
The version which we'd like to revert to is %103e which contains enough balance, no bugs or exploits that I've seen of.
I'd like for this version to be up on ENTID (ENT60) until the public decides that a newer version is worth putting up via a public poll, just like this one.
The main point of all of this is just to ensure better public games, and we're all comfortable with 103e.

If the map got reverted every time something you didn't like got changed then we'd still be playing on old random hotkeys because there wasn't exactly a strong following of people wanting that change....

0104d is already released which addresses the issues mentioned here. Not sure if this is even required or valid anymore.
