Okey I know I'm new here and still under my trial, I havent been in the mood to play a lot of Legion lately because of all the drama, claimed unvouches to left and right and blablabla...

I do not know what is the reason behind of all this but it is for sure something.

I created my trial vouch because I want to improve as a player, develop my skills and compete with the top players. Though instead it feels like this is somewhat of a kindergarden.

Today I felt that it would be fun to play some games but ones mentality sure goes down the rafter quickly when you get to play (3 out of 8 games ) to a winner is chosen. 3 out of 8 games? That's ridicilous to me and with that said there is not much fun playing 7-14 rounds into a game and having to draw 5 of them? I spend my time on Legion cause it is fun, drawing every game is not fun..

I mean, if people know they got bad internet it is not the hardest to install Gproxy right?
Though instead, wasting time for a lot of other people who might be limited to play cause of work, school, family and so on...

Just wanted to get this out of me and to see if there is someone else feeling the same.

the increase in dc is just because the old g proxy doesnt work and the new one sucks ass.

Yeah it sucks ass that the "good one" is gone since patch, but the other version still serves it purpose.

The only thing i really have to compare with is 1200, since i didn't really play alot of lihl yet.

When playing 1200 i feel like we !draw around 5-10% of the games.
When playing lihl i feel like its more like 40%.
What does this mean? either ppl on lihl got really bad internet, or ppl really thinks like screw this game and pp, bec they know ppl have to draw it.

I dont wanna point my finger at anyone, but i even experienced some1 saying "i will just pp and force u to draw" and then "dcing" 3 lvls later.

I believe we are all here to have some fun and exciting games, drawing isnt either of them.

You can talk it dead like that, yea... There are so many new vouches lately all motivated and willing to play, how can you say something like that. If the old and experienced players would be a bit more open and stop whining in forum all the time, then the league would be far from dead imo.

I usually play between 8-12pm CET (which is 1pm CDT I think), and at that time I have fun, people are active and mostly mannered. The drawing stuff increased with the new patch, since I think not everybody gets Gproxy Varlock to run. But also without this in lihl there are more draws I think. When someone has to leave people usually draw, when something by accident went wrong people draw etc, because you basically know all players here and just want a fair and nice game.
However, I have no idea why stuff you pointed out (saying to pp and then leaving) doesn't result in a ban. An issue I mentioned elsewhere already, and I think the mods should change their approach to this matter, then people will stop doing it...

Luckily your opinion is not too important. It's still sad that you have to badmouth LIHL on every chance you get, what's the sense in talking things bad for others?



I've checked the last 40 games of LIHL and 1200+.

LIHL: 8 dcs in 40 games + 2 early draws for other reasons (once -phgmcb instead of -sdgmcb and once it was remade for w/e reason)

1200+: 11dcs (or kicked while dcing) in 40 games + 3 draws cause someone dropped during loading

Of course this is a rather small sample but it should at least show that in LIHL there aren't more dcs than in 1200+ games. 20% dcs is still a very high number and it definitely got worse with the unavailability of the old gproxy, but I don't think there are many pps (if any) in LIHL.

yes sometimes players have random net issues.
i did yesterday have 2 dc in lihl due to packet loss, which i fixed.
dc has nothing to do with the league health, the league is fine, some periods of the year some players have to be away at times due to personal reasons.

players have to stop bashing each other on the forums. that is not healthy.

Just to be clear, we have dc-penalties. So if you suspect someone to PP or if they DC a lot and are careless about it, you can always request a dc-penalty to force them to be more careful.

I think there are not intentional pps, well, there are some but they are announced before the pp. Really think that in 99,9% of DCs there is not a ragequit behind, also really think that not everysingle DC should be reported or penalized, that should only happen when its repetitive and with no Gproxi.

I put myself as example. Last season I played about 400 lihl games and just did DC one time.

This season i had a terrible start, i did DC 2 consecutive games, then i stopped playing for the day and the day after the first game i played was also a DC. After that i just installed Varlock and did never DC again. For me it would be unfair to DC pen in that case (noone reported luckily) since was my first experience with net issues and i cutted it kinda fast with the required tool (gproxi). Now im sure i would not have anymore DC but still using self tk varlock to be sure.

Other players just keep having net issues and just play with no proxi, those are the ones that should be rlly penalized...

Well guys, im rly sorry for my dc last night, i would even dc pen myself since game was pretty on ur side ;
I dont get varlock proxy since i heard some complain about it ( ppl getting kicked without losing conection, no reconection ect..)
I would be glad to know that someone find a way to make a new proxy or so.
About pp's , 90% of dc are not , but imo , if u feel that the game was on ur side , dont hesitate to dc pen.

Varlock is working fine technical wise, it is just a bit annoying to use.

Im using varlock since the patch and never had any issues with it. its 100% working fine and i cant rly understand why ppl not using it. yesterday 2/3 games drawed cuz no proxy -.-
