Re: Turn off mouse acceleration!
You get accurate with your mouse and get used to muscle memory by turning this God forsaken thing off.
What is mouse acceleration?
"Without mouse acceleration, the movement of the mouse and the movement of the crosshair will be 1 : 1. With mouse acceleration, the movement is based on speed. Meaning, if you move the mouse 1 inch, slowly, it'll move one distance. If you move it still 1 inch, but fast, it'll move a lot farther."

Re: Turn off mouse acceleration!
You should probably point the pointer speed in the middle, or the 6th tick. The others have a horrible sensitivity curve, as 6th tick is raw input. If you want to control sensitivity buy a decent mouse that allows you to control DPI. Also, higher DPI does not mean the sensor is better.

Also, all/Most CS;GO players have to have low DPI settings for click accuracy. So there's a reason why you are misclicking all those WOTW clicks, because your DPI may be too high.
I like to be able to get my mouse from one side of the screen to the other within half my mousepad for RTS and ID.
For FPS games, I like to have half that speed.

They use like 10k dpi mice so if they don't turn it down they move 1inch and scroll across 3 screens....
Much different scenario than average person.

Re: Turn off mouse acceleration!
Apparently the ever so popular death adder is only popular on twitch.tv .
The Windows sensitivity column in that spreadsheet refers to your image though and typically seems to be 3+ more ticks. But more interestingly is that the edpi is all over the place in that spreedsheet so not too sure any conclusions can really be drawn.
---
Edit: not too sure that spreedsheet is correct. The death adder claims to be 10K but isn't ever referenced as such. The Zowie EC doesn't claim to have a 1k setting but is labeled as 1k.

Re: Turn off mouse acceleration!
If you can aim with high DPI, more power to you. If you can't even aim on low DPI, stay on low DPI. That's my point.
