We should probably ban rearm + phantasm - it's too dirty if user knows how to abuse images
I used to 2 shot an enemy tank with 7 images (phantasm & manta) + desolate in late game while my real hero is regenerating mana in fountain
ban these combos in lod asap

@hazardous (in regards to rearm sanity's eclipse) if you manage to not let it farm? All it needs is a scepter. It is incredibly easy to farm a scepter. Id agree with you if you needed to farm 6 items and run a 50 minute game in order to be dominating. THAT's normal CARRY. What this is is an opportunity to have perma disable to death as soon as you farm a scepter. Then you just tp back home to get more mana then kill to death the next one. Pretty soon you have mana regen items and you dont even need to tp home. This needs counters and until then it needs banned.
And fucking rearm phantasm is insane. I can show you 10 replays of pure ass rape because those images are so strong and nothing can get near them. Youre not even attacking the real hero so even if you do kill the images it doesnt matter. The hero on the other side of the map just makes more.

No, actually I was saying that if you have more stats than the caster's main stats, you won't even be imprisoned (or lose HP/Mana) in astral by sanity's eclipse combined by scepter. Thus, preventing enemy from farming and having good stats is a counter to sanity's eclipse + rearm combo.
Edit: Note; "Counter" isn't necessarily something that it is easy to do/achieve..

I think we need better understanding here: sanity eclipse compares your highest stats (usually people pick int hero with it) with enemy's same stats (int) (correct me if i'm wrong here, but I remember imprisoning a str hero with morph on the 1st cast when I had OD).
The op part is: let's say you have 50 int and enemy has 49 (difference = 1) and you cast on him once, sanity steals 13 int from him so your int becomes 63 and his gets lowered to 36 (difference = 27). And imagine you get 2 in ult and steal 26 int with each of them losing 13 (difference vs hero in example above = 40) At this point, your int will be higher than anyone in the game and your 2nd/3rd/4th ult does dmg based on the int difference and steal more int.
There is always a tank or carry hero who's int is not supposed to be high as a tradeoff for str or agi growth so rearm+eclipse will work in almost all games and your argument above should not stand.

I believe you resumed it correctly, Burnt. But that would give you enough time to stun/disable caster, I think.. With steal duration being 50 sec if I'm not wrong.
Don't take me wrong, I totally agree that this is very hard to do, thus my note above. I'm no LoD expert, and I was hearing from players that some other combos are even more OP than that.
Thoughts on other combo suggested, @Burnt - Rearm + Image does the very same thing as Rearm + Phantasm?

Yea at least you are exposing yourself to cast sanity eclipse.
rearm+image is not as dirty as rearm+phantasm because only phantasm images do 100% damage (ultimate skills are generally stronger than basic ones, especially when you rearm to spam right? lol)
If we gonna ban op dirty combos, I personally think rearm+phantasm should come first.

As with censorship of free speech, there's never an end to it. The same kinda applies to LoD. You ban one combo and the next "op!!!11111one combo" comes around the corner.
ENT moderates the games to the extend to create and promote a fair and welcoming gaming atmosphere. Our job is not and will not be to adjust our rules to every map change the LoD devs think are fine. If there's even the slightest chance of winning and doesn't exploit or glitch the game, there is no reason ENT should ban it.
Keep it in mind, we enforce such bans on a case by case basis and not every other day to suit your needs. It's LoD after all.
