old version or bust, ent will die off for dota if you keep this version

So i have played a few games with it, and have players asking me why we switched and lamenting this change. Nobody yet has commented or messaged me that likes the idea, though that certainly is not evidence that they do not.

im just going to give my opinion.
Many players complain about an op meepo or slark picker can ruin the game.
So now we have a version that is more balanced and we still complain.
It is an em mode but yes the gold does come a bit slower, but that is off set by the fact items are quite a bit less expensive.
The reasons the games are longer is due to it being more balanced and any carry that just wants to sit back and play safe cant get over powered.
If you also notice cool downs and mana costs are less.
this helps make the game a tad more skill dependent and not as much item dependent also off setting the amount of gold you no longer receive for just being in the game.
I like dota no matter which version it is.
I am just saying a change is not a bad thing try it out for a few see where it goes. If it is a disaster I am sure something will be worked out.

Worst map ever. Full of bugs, long games, tons of new items that make 0 sense, etc.

Why fix something that's not broken.

What about providing both versions of the map?
That way, mods could monitor which version is more popular.
If i had to guess, i would say that good old Icefrog's version is way more popular.

Please change back, strongly dislike the new version. This is not Dota 1.

Yes I just played for a 3rd time and it was horrible and I was even playing good. I know a lot of dota players that play a lot and are top players and they all agree that it's more slow and boring, and the games take way to long when we just want official apem.

Please if you could consider adding a bot with the official apem that would be great. because i can't play this version anymore, thanks hope you can

Bring back the old one, 6.85k is god awful, at least have a separate bot for 6.83d, or I'd imagine you're going to lose a fair number of players to the game.

That other version not made by icefrog was not apem. I fam reading here that I am not the only one who felt that and agrees that the apem on the version is not apem. -_-

And, am I the only one who cannnot join after downloading the 6.85? .. I changed the file name to match the ent 6.85 gamename. Bot still says I dont have the files.

There is a reason some people play dota 1... over dota 2...

Live with it? I have no choice.

6.83d was what made ENT awesome. Only place you could get (imo) true Dota 1 for those icefrog purists. Don't have to take the new version off, just leave the old one for those of us who like it old school.
