I tried downloading the W3 W3X cd key grabber, but when I open warcraft 3 and go to Local Area Network, nothing happens. It just stays empty. Need help :s

u have to follow the steps.
the cd key grabber is only used to get ur cd keys if u dont know them.
they are required to be put in the gproxy.cfg refer to 11.jpg.
i didnt display my cd keys u can see all the zeros, tahts where u put ur cd keys

i had the same problem avada, try find the newest cd grabber version, after some tries and downloads it worked for me

the one i linked from hiveworkshop.com works fine and its a reliable source. don't try other places they repackage it with viruses and troyans. ^^
i think avada was just lazy and didnt put his cd keys in the config files ^^

This time u're wrong pew

I downloaded warlock some time ago, followed all the steps on the ent.wiki, I used my own cd keys, but when I tried opening gproxy it just said "Cd-keys can not be validated" or some shit. I checked the spelling 3-4 times, and I wrote my cd keys correct. I followed all other steps, put in the correct version of wc3 etc, so I got kinda stuck.

Now I dc'ed a lot yesterday, so I tried following ur guide, downloading the keygrabber thingy, buuut... Instead of giving me cd keys it just stays empty, even after I open wc3 and go to "local area network", still it's just empty nothing. Even if I got a new cd key from this keygrabber it might not work, since my own original cd keys didn't work either.. So again im stuck.. And my elo's gone, -21 at a time, along with any will to go on in this cruel world.. And u call me lazy shame on u pew...

the cdkeygrabber just gets the keys you used for your wc3 no new one so if you got them theres no need for the tool.
make sure you entered the cd key without the "-" or other symbols and try to highlight the whole config file and search for invisible spaces after and infront of your entered cd keys.
otherwise you could pm me your config file and let me take a look at it after replacing the cd key and your password with "xx" in the same format you used before.

I tried redoing everything from scratch and I got it working somehow. Maybe something else than the cd-keys was misstyped, idk :s. Thanks anyways for the help!

CD key grabber is just to see what cd keys you installed Warcraft 3 with as many people don't have the keys written down/saved anymore.
