Addition on Antistuckrule

Postby Stiff_Maistar » Sun Aug 07, 2016 12:31 pm

Im suggesting to add a rule to antistuck. "Antistuck cannot be used on creeps and sends that are attacking your towers." We already have this rule
Cannot be used on creeps and sends that are attacking the king.

So the reason for the suggestion is that; antistucking the creeps that are attacking your tower is exploiting a mechanic in the game because it resets the attack animation on creeps and sends that are attacking your towers. Antistuck can also change the sends target (the 2nd replay). Plus it can be annoying for players to have their screen filled with the antistuck msgs and have to use -cls all the time.

So a suggestion to the new rule:
Cannot be used on creeps and sends that are attacking the king and your towers
.

The replay attached is just to show that it does reset the attack animation. Times to watch is in spoiler.
Spoiler!
1st replay (antistuck resets......) : Time to watch it is 1:58 at the bowmen when it attacks, it gets reset animation at 2:00. Same on 2:06. On 5:45 and 5:52 the boss on right side, gets reset animation.
2nd replay: Time to watch is 1:02 at the wyvern, it gets the attack animation reset and changes the target. Then 3:49, the demon resets animation and changes target. Same on 3:55, it resets the animation and the demon changes target.

I agree with this, I feel like it's exploiting. While helpful during rounds where heavy sends, it's the same as anti'ing at king to a point.

To be honest, any use of anti-stuck on a non-stuck creep is a glitch. We have specific anti stuck rules because the glitch has become a part of the game, and community did not want to ban it altogether. As far as I know, many people, including staff members, use anti stuck on creeps attacking your towers. I'm wondering why no suggestion has been made before to ban it? Is it because its impact is low? Because anti-stuck itself is widely accepted as part of the game in LTD?

The only time the impact is pretty big of this glitch is when you antistuck on the first 5 levels and your bloodorc or furbolg attacks quite a while later. In a cross build it can be antistucked to run directly to the king (depending on your build order and units ofc) besides this you don't have this much advantages using it, I don't use it myself except when I'm bored and want to see the message. It gives you little advantages throughout the game, yes. But the advantage of catching leaks for example is much bigger in my opinion.
Send me your best Sloth pictures for instant unban*

Due to lack of input, low impact, and specific LTD rules regarding anti-stuck as a glitch, we won't be banning the usage of AS on creeps attacking towers.

Thanks for suggestion.
