Excessive ban duration

Postby ShudBStudyin » Sun Aug 21, 2016 10:17 pm

Your Warcraft III username: ShudBStudyin
Realm/Gateway: entconnect
Why are you banned: Solo sending, not healing
Why you should be unbanned: Prisoner build needs 6g send before level 2 end. Yellow was tk'ing by going 7/10 with low value. Our king would have died faster, anyway, mostly because of yellow and ultimately because of warlocks, which I tried to kill. I really wanted to win that game, which should be apparent by my ingame stats.

First offense. One week ban seems excessive.

@ShudBStudyin
The standard ban duration for not healing is generally 2 days, and combine that with the standard for solo sending 2-3 days equals exactly what you got. It isn't excessive at all for 2 rules being violated.

Please head over to our wiki and find the rule you broke, then paste it here. Thank you

Having an unstable internet connection or a high risk of lagging out? Are you tired of losing a won game because you disconnected?
    Do not worry, there are solutions to solve your problem!
    • ENT Connect is a on LAN connection based reconnection tool (no cd-keys needed).
    • GProxy++(Varlock) is a reconnection tool for the battle.net with an external prompt.
    • GProxy++ DLL is a reconnection plugin for battle.net (Recommended).

    - Refusing to heal.
    - Refusing to cooperate when asked to do so several times by sending alone and not save-send with teammates to win.

    I was not refusing, but failing to heal—I tried, but there was not enough time to tell someone to take king when I realized I have it. Also it did wouldn't have changed the outcome.
    Sending necessary 6g for build once shouldn't qualify as "several times". And I always sent with team.
    So going strictly by the rules I didn't break any. This is my alt btw.

    At least remove "game ruining" and "solo sending" from the ban reasons, there's no way one could conclude that from how the game went.

    Bottom line is: you broke the rules.
    Will you accept what you did and learn from it?
    Or will you simply just state "I didn't break any rules".

    @SeriouslyStrange

    Since you're the one who banned me, you hopefully watched the replay; so could you at least argue inhowfar?

    Refusing to cooperate when asked to do so several times [...] — how was I refusing cooperation? I sent on 2 because I needed it for build and wound up being first or second strongest player on the team. Way to ruin a game. It says several times btw.

    Refusing to heal. — I failed to heal. Ok, ban me for that, even for a year if you want, but adjust the ban reason.

    Side fact: yellow went underval and reported me cause he was butthurt for losing the game, while being the greatest contributor to that outcome. It's like arresting a trashman for spilling a bottle of chemicals someone illegally disposed of.

    You solo sent on 2, and on arena. You also didn't heal.
    Tell me again how this isn't ruining a game.

    Secondly, you blatantly told an ENT member to basically not comment because he's not a mod.
    As long as what they say actually contributes to the topic, ANYONE can comment on ANYONE'S post.

    1. Please refrain from commenting on something you are not familiar with.
    2. Nobody asked you, stop acting like a moderator.
    3. Try to get out more, it's creepy.

    Since you obviously don't even see that you did anything wrong; denied.
