Any further thoughts:
Player red did not properly warned in lobby that game mode was going to be NM. At lvl 1, some seconds remaining, players yellow and orange tried to cross and couldn't do it. They immediatly claimed draw vote since neither them or me saw red warning about different mode. He claims he did it 1 time:

He says he annouced it once evey time a player came in but i really didnt see any warnings. 3 out of 4 in our team didnt see it either. Even though, it was lvl 1 and I dont know what is so hard for him and his team draw a game before it starts for such a misunderstanding. Not like we were wasting a big amout of time at such point of the game.

Anyway, he failed to communicate the mode properly as follows:

So lets get one thing straight I did say mode. Unfortunately i thought that, I would have sworn that, I typed it twice but it appears that it not registered. And in game green and orange both acknowledge the fact that I typed it.

No rule says that u have to draw.
These players also insisted on constantly pausing the game while round 1 was in session. I said that i said it once everyone came in, it is clear below that I did not and that is my fault I genuinely thought I did otherwise I wouldn't have made the mode nm.

- The rule is you have to announce in lobby. You did it once, before 3 of our players joined. That is a definite violation of the rules.

- We paused to demand the appropriate draw.

- There is nothing wrong with non-default game modes. You could, should and have to communicate more clear. Even if you responsibly communicated, communication isn't always perfect. But by not drawing you are wrong. Morally.

- You did the exact same thing 50 minutes earlier in this game.

I was orange. Just to make clear: I did not at all acknowledge he announced game mode. Because there was no appropriate announcement. It was just for that statement that I assumed I was the one who missed an announcement and still think draw is the only responsible choice in this situation.


How in hell do you think I acknoledged your announcement? I wouldn't have tried to build mid if I read any announcement.

@johnpick in that game, I announced it aafter the last player joined. The lobby chat misconstrues the idea that I announced it seconds before the game started. It ws about 10 seconds before the countdown which is plenty time for them to decide to stay or not. As I said I realize that I did not say it and I even tried to apologize to you in the next game but you all left before I could say anything.

That was me apologizing to pink, then you all left moments later. As i said I was wrong, I did not announce the mode correctly in time for everyone and I apologize and I will accept the punishment that will be handed out. I do feel that we need something to take the Loss and Win away from the teams respectively and not only in this case, in cases of team kill as well. just my thought.

I don t acknowledge that i state seen anouncement. he took a part of what I said out of context. What i meant is: IF he said it ONE TIME he did it before we joined and it was not enough to make himself clear.

WHen u change mode you have to communicate. COMMUNICATE means you NEED to get the information to other people. Its your obligation since you are doing alterations in regular mode. Do anything you have to do to make it clear. Say in loby as many times as needed and in game if possible.

after all, regardless of ONE statement of mode, remember that:

System always spam information about players in large amount of text and his announcement was limited to 4 letters: nm mode. 4 letters among a whole bunch of text. Clearly not enough.
Imagine that not all players now what nm mode is. IF they see it, they may even dont understand it.

Also, my suggestion would be to ban everyone in west team because none of them drew although they all knew about the whole situation. They saw the only time when sweatypalmsinc. said game mode in lobby (when only one of east was there) and they read that he reminded specifically west team - what a dickmove by the way.

@johpick if you want too use that logic, your team mate green also saw game mode, and he knew he saw game mode because he states that I said it in game. He could have told you but he didn't. Why would I remind the other team of the mode are u kidding?

I just watched replay, you both started building solo and then decide to try and cross with 28 seconds left. Granted I thought I announced mode but not exactly my fault you decide to solo and then decide to cross at the end. If you build and then sell I do not think we should penalized for that, along with the fact the first harlot you tried to place was at 20 seconds left. You had plenty of time to go back to build solo and then u continued to try and place as u saw it wasnt working. I already acknowledge the fact that I did not state when i thought I did; however, I do not think we should be penalized when players attempt to cross with 20 seconds left and then do not acknowledge the fact that it did not build.

Closing statement, my team has no reason to be punished because just as I thought I did, they thought that I typed it in lobby for them to see too.

The same reason I would draw when the other team has a prob with game mode: Because I am a nice person and a fair player. You are not.
