Hey, i did a new thread since the krocis one is locked to sum up some things.
First of all, i wonder if you guys checked the replay or if it wouldnt matter since more than 200g sold is more than 200g.
If you didnt, i wanna to say that it was obvious that we didnt had the intention to clog since i asked him to sell 'MELAI's arena which it would kill 1-2creeps on race lvl. Now being said, i wonder if its bannable since u wont clog/cheat/abuse/glitch/unfair win , if yes, its once again a dumb and idiot rule like many previous ones about clogs cuz you still can clog in 10 differents ways and it also break some legit/fair strat...
Imo, you guys should be allowed to use ur common sense instead of following rules like robots, because if you don't , we lose the essence of the rules, and some ppls would even forget/missunderstand why some rules are made.

Do not sell more than 200 value during a single level with the intent to push and/or leak more.

Rules are rules, if a mod would bend them from case to case it would be unfair and biased. How can you not see that?

To be honest, this case was a pretty hard abuse of the 200 value sell rule. Part of why it was installed is that if you do this you have the advantages of suicide but not the disadvantage - being, that you are weak before level 10 because you leak a lot, but still have the advantage of hard push after 10. We considered that OP and an abuse of game mechanics.

I am pretty surprised mods only gave a warning here really. Ignorance of the rules and it not having the effects they hoped are no excuses at all for a lighter punishment imo.

So Mick im learning something new here, i thought that rule was made to avoid clog/clog race only, but i didnt know pushing instead of building dead values could be considered as a glitch/abuse, it is guys?

I can't really confirm the intentation of the rule as stated by mick
It was brought up in a anti clog topic and was meant to eliminate the lamest cases of clogging, i.e. building until level 14 to be safe just to sell afterwards for maximum clogging.

But either way it doesn't really matter, the rule is clear and easy to follow.

Anyway, i think its a good rule still ... in some cases it sucks, but thats a normal thing with kinda all rules.

What if Krocis becomes pro and decide to sell a spawn because he miss 130golds to make a tok lvl13 send lvl, his team live with 200hp, he becomes a hero, miles get mad from obs and raport once again. Would Krocis take a ban ? No exceptions to the rule + already warned = 2weeks ban? Not to speak about Harbinger too.

Also i wanna say that imo, you are wrong mick. because if you sell your value to push past 10, games end 14 or 15 95% of times, and the one who done sell for push,gonna earn from it like 200-300 lumb maximum but he gonna leaks a way faster = self tk.
Tbh i sold more than 200g this season a lot of times, since i truely thought this rule was made exclusively for clog / clog race , and 80% of games ended by defeat ( pretty curious for an 'OP and an abuse of game mechanics' ) xD. If you want Mick, we can both test it in pub and you will be able to confirm what im saying there.

Not correct, sell is sell. Following your logic I could sell 400g every round and rebuild 200g clog units effectivly reducing value by 200g per lvl. After lvl 11 12 13 14 15 I end up -1k value and can even sell strong and build shit units. Anyway in this specific case the sell rule doesnt kick in since the sell was intended to kill more and not less units.So the conditions for the rule are not fullfilled.

Neither would a push nor bigger leak happen. If he sold spawn to build GoD for example ending up with higher value it's still a rulebreak because of the intend to leak more.

Other example: I have 3 ToKs + stuff 2100 value lvl 14 + 500 gold saved. For lvl 15 I sell all ToKs and rebuild shit units ending up @1900 value. Not allowed even if the fair value just drop 200g.

Funny thing is that all suicider who start with an upped crab and sell afterwards for push are rulebreakers
