dont know if it violates rules, but not allowing blue to take mid when he called made a big impact on his ability to gank early

it's worth noting that prior to the afks and inbetween each of them, tide was solo farming lanes which lead to his death each time.
over the course of the game, he only participated in 3 team fights... with tide...

I think both of your accounts of what happened are misleading. What's the point of having the -kickafk command if anybody who goes AFK for couple of minutes gets kicked off the game (there must be a threshold which is 5 minutes)? He wasn't AFK for purpose moving at the fountain, he was actually playing. It happened to me before, I had to answer the phone or open the door and I went afk for couple minutes, big deal! Your issue here is that you wanted to kick him because he was a newbie, and he naturally was bad. You knew he would feed our carries and that was bad for you, but you certainly didn't mind using tide after he left and you sold his items, did you? You just wanted to win the game by getting rid of him, I am afraid it doesn't work like that.

In my opinion you were abusing vote kick, paused the game few times in crucial moments so you can get him kicked. We had some players who fed and played poorly, but we didn't complain did we? Also, punga in our team went AFK for few minutes while you almost raxed, we didn't vote kick him either. You were noob bashing, which admittedly sometimes is necessary to motivate players, but you pushed it too far!

He insisted on taking mid lane (again, with TIDE) even when lesh called.
He refused to help in most team fights, choosing to solo farm instead.

my account of what happened is not inaccurate. also, the replay shows exactly that. repeatedly going afk without saying anything is bannable (he's afk almost 1/5th of the game!).
repeatedly refusing to join the team for push or fight is bannable.
thats what we're submimtting for. and thats why hopefully scourge gets bans for not kicking.
