Whisper doesn't work

Yesterday my pc got frozen and i shut it down (while i played LTD 1v1).

Since that i can't whisper to anybody. I can see al whispers i receive, but i can't answer.

Example:
I press enter to send a text (whisper) and then i don't see anything ... and the message is gone.... the other one won't receive it too.

It's like i disabled whisper function ....


Can anyone help me? (all acc's are affected!)

did you use /r ?
might be a BNet delay or mess up might also be that they use chars in the name that you a cant /w. Happend to me wit using accs like but it seems to matter if your in channel or ingame and where the person you /w is kinda random so Im not really sure.

However I hope you know that you cant /w cross servers

Hopefully if this was a BNet problem it will have been fixed by now

Try joining a channel, if it puts you in "the void" then your account is currently muted. first mute is like 4hours then 1 day, a week, a month and so on...It's over cdkey.

And it isn't fixed by now.

@gurjop i can join all channels. So i guess i'm not muted..
Very crazy... maybe a reinstall of wc3 will help. I will try soon.

Dosnt work for me either since 2-3 days now, not sure why though. Whispering the bot works via gproxy though.

I know several other players with this prob, and have it myself from time to time.
If i relog to battle.net it works again though.

I guess its a problem by Blizzard, caused due to the last patch or smth. Unfortunaly nothing we can do about it.

It is for sure, I got this bug today, did reply to 3 whispers but after that I couldn't write anything back...

Another completely useless patch 1.28.3 incoming ^^

/wing worked for me yesterday so idk whats up... :S
A fix for this is to voice chat & text chat on for ex discord or skype or whatever (apparently Blizzard has an app for that too...) xD
