Revamp ideas for Panda.

It's that time of year again: more thoughts for Panda:

Every upgrade path is final, only one form can be chosen.

Starting builder: same as always, Brewmaster, human style building.
Spoiler!
-Builds:
Shelter (10lum), Fruit Tree (20lum), Wall (50lum), Research Center (150lum), Advanced
Research Center (25g 1250lum), Merchant (45g 150lum), Ultimate Structure (500lum), tower (35lum, 1food)

-Escapes:
passive ability (Drunken Brawler) that gives the main Panda 20% evasion

The Main panda has a cast-able ability (Drunken Haze) that is very similar to the Ogre
fart ability, drunken haze will increase the movement speed of the Panda, and also will
give nearby enemies a 20% chance to miss for 5 seconds (punishable).


-0 Medium armour
-6 food harvesters
-Base 300hp

-Towers: 20 piercing damage 450 range (35lum, 1food)
30 piercing damage 550 range (100lum)
40 piercing damage 600 range (250lum)
50 piercing damage 750 range, for every mega tower within 1650 range mega towers gain .25 damage.
(so if you have 40 mega towers all within 1650 range of eachother, the damage of each tower would be
60, this only affects mega towers.)


-ultimate structure upgrades:
The 151: The Brewmaster ditches his ale and brings out the Bacardi: this tower has a base
damage of just 5-5, but it autocasts Drunken Haze giving the titan a 12.5% chance to miss.
(the autocast cooldown is 1.25 seconds, is punishable.)
While in item form it gives the user 12.5% evasion.
90gold 1000lumber

Matchstick gun: A crudely constructed tower that hurls flaming matches: this tower has the
same underwhelming 5-5 base damage, although if the target is currently under the effects of
Drunken Haze then the target will take 165 damage per second.
(this tower is basically useless if it is built before "The 151".
While in item form it gives a 30% chance for attacks to stun for .25 seconds and deal an extra
75 damage.
90gold 1000lumber


Advanced research center upgrades that involve the brewmaster:
If Advanced brewing is researched (at a cost of 25gold and no lumber) then the Panda is locked
in as the brewmaster for the completetion of the game. This upgrade allows the brewmaster to
upgrade his towers into megas, and upgrade the ultimate structure into "The 151" and "The
Matchstick Gun." The completion of this research also unlocks the rest of the brewmasters tech
tree in the Advanced Research Center.

Additional Upgrades:
Take aim I: For 1250lumber all towers increase range by 75.
Hardened Roots: Increase wall hitpoints by 50, and armour by 10. (2000 lumber)
Take aim II: For 45gold and 1250 lumber all towers increase range by a further 125 range
(Take aim I required.)




Storm Panda: Range builder with powerful towers, orc style building

The Storm panda Research would be in the Advanced Research center for no gold and no lumber.
Once this upgrade is researched the player will be the Storm Panda for the rest of the game.

-Builds: Shelter (10lum), Fruit Tree (20lum), Wall (50lum), Research Center (150lum), Advanced
Research Center (25g 1250lum), Merchant (45g 150lum), Ultimate Structure (500lum), Storm cloud

-6 food harvesters
-0 Medium armour
-450 attack range on builder
-Default abilities:
Windwalk (same as the troll builders windwalk)
Tornado: A channeling spell that summons a small Tornado, works like the naga sea witches
ultimate. Any enemy unit within 550 Aoe of the Tornado is slowed by 20% in both movement and
speed, these units also take 75 damage a second. Channels for 9 seconds with a 180 second cooldown.


-Storm Towers: 4x4 towers that require 4 food (like tauren towers)
90 piercing damage 600 range (150 lum 4 food)
120 piercing damage 700 range (400 lum)
155 piercing damage 800 range (800 lum)
190 piercing damage 950 range (1600 lum)


-ultimate structure upgrades:
Water Spout: 4x4 tower that matches the storm tower mega in damage and range, but with double the
attack speed.
While in item form it gives the user a 35% attack speed increase
135gold 1000lumber

Island Bloom: (same tower as the dryad Ulti)


Advanced research center upgrades that involve Storm Panda:
Research Mega Tower construction: allows the builder to upgrade to Megas. 20 gold.
Battle training: increase hitpoints by 250, increase movement speed by 25, increase attack range
by 125 and damage by 40,
gives Storm panda the Passive ability "electric shock" which slows enemies movement speed by 15%
when attacked by Storm panda. 45 gold 2250 lumber.

Hurricane: upgrades the spell tornado: summons a large hurricane that slows enemies movement and
attack speed by 35%, 700 aoe, 12 second channel, and 120second cooldown. Costs 10 gold and 750 lum

Take aim: Increase attack range by 150, and damage by 20 on all storm towers. 45 gold, 2250 lum


Fire Panda: Fighting builder with high dps, undead style building

The Fire panda Research would be in the Advanced Research center for 45 gold and 2250 lumber.
Once this upgrade is researched the player will be the Fire Panda for the rest of the game.

-Builds: Shelter (10lum), Wall (50lum), Research Center (150lum), Advanced
Research Center (25g 1250lum), Merchant (45g 150lum), Ultimate Structure (500lum),
4 bon fires for 150 food (20lum)

-harvesters get 5 food per hit, cost 30 food each.
-Fire panda gets 15 lumber per hit.
-400hp base
-heavy armour, base of 5

-Default abilities:
Cloak of Flames, deals 45 damage per second to nearby enemies. Passive.
Flaming Blade: Grants Fire panda 15% lifesteal. Passive.
Dash: Increase movement speed by 120 for 5 seconds, 90 second cooldown.


-ultimate structure upgrades:
Knife Thrower: Reduces targets armour by 1.5 with each attack, stacks up to -18 armour, punishable
While in item form it throws knives at nearby enemies. (same damage as spiny)
90 gold 1000 lumber

Fireworks tower (same as pirate)


Advanced research center upgrades that involve Fire Panda:
Increased Cloak of flames: increase Cloak of flames dps by 15, upgradable two times.
5 gold 750 lum per upgrade

Increased Flaming Blade: increase base damage by 5 and lifesteal by 5%, upgradable 5 times.
5 gold and 500 lumber for the first 3 upgrades, then 10 gold and 1000 lumber for the last 2.

Battle training I: increase damage by 20 and hitpoints by 100.
15 gold 1250 lum

Battle training II: increase damage by 30 and hitpoints by 150.
25 gold 1750 lum

Ember: 15% chance to stun while attacking a unit. Requires both battle trainings.
15 gold 2000 lum

Samurai Master Training: For every attack Fire panda does to an enemy his damage increases by 15
for 12 seconds, stack able up to +135 damage. Requires Ember and all 5 flaming blade upgrades.
30 gold 3500 lumber. (this is basically fury swipes from ursa in dota)



Earth Panda: Tanky support builder, human style building.

The earth panda Research would be in the Advanced Research center for 45 gold and 2250 lumber.
Once this upgrade is researched the player will be the earth Panda for the rest of the game.

-Builds: Shelter (10lum), Wall (50lum), Research Center (150lum), Advanced
Research Center (25g 1250lum), Merchant (45g 150lum), Ultimate Structure (500lum)

-Shelter Provides 150 food.
-harvester that is parrellel to pizzly,
-550hp base
-heavy armour, base of 16
-harvests 10 wood per hit.

-Default abilities:
Harden: this is a toggle-able ability that makes it so the earth panda can not move (but can attack).
The spell reduces all physical damage taken by the earth panda by 65%
Jagged edge: each time the earth panda is attacked, the attacker takes 25 damage + 10% of their
damage reflected back to them.


-ultimate structure upgrades:
Stone tosser: 600 range, 200 chaos damage, slow attack speed.
While in item form it gives the user a throw stone ability, stuns titan for 1.5seconds, deals zero
damage, 90 second cooldown.
90 gold 1000 lumber.

Cannon tower (same as with other builders)


Advanced research center upgrades that involve Earth Panda:
Upgrade to Jagged edge: attacker takes 50 damage + 15% of their damage reflected back.
10 gold, 500 lumber

Mossy skin: all spell damage taken by Earth panda is reduced by 30%
10 gold 500 lumber.

Battle training I: Increase hitpoints by 150, and armour by 6
15 gold 1250 lum

Battle training II: Increase hitpoints by 300 and armour by 8
25gold 1750 lum

Increased repair: earth panda makes himself a useful support by increasing his building repair
rate by 3x.
25 gold 3000 lum

Stone walls: Walls unlock third upgrade, going from 500hp and 15 armour to 650hp and 25 armour.
(costs 300 lumber for third upgrade)
10 gold 2000 lum

Boulder Form: Increase builder size to 2x2, increase hitpoints by 450, increase damage by 250,
decrease attack speed by 50%, decrease movement speed by 35. This form can not be toggled while
in combat, has no cooldown between toggles. Requires battle training I.
30 gold 3500lum

I dont think we shiuod bring in new/old stuff before we fix what we currenlty have.

I dont think we shiuod bring in new/old stuff before we fix what we currenlty have.

As someone who only is playing a few times a week atm, I genuinely wasn't aware the game was in an imbalanced or broken state right now.

I think he's referring to how Titans feel currently.

This idea aligns to my goal with panda, I'll definitely keep an eye on it.
