LoD banned skills

I just got back to ENT today and see that mana burn on melee heroes is banned. I dont agree with this ban because it's just not as broken as many of the combos players pick now. I played at two different LoD sites for the past year. Stats and RGC. Neither place banned mana burn. RGC has kraken shield banned on every bot. Kraken is buggy. It's like 3 skills in one and so they banned it. Another bot where the maker of the LoD map, ResQ, plays has kraken banned with vanguard or PMS. You can take kraken but you cant stack it with another shield. I like the situational bans better. I think only an op skill combo should be banned, not just the skill. You can take mana burn on a melee hero and its good but it's not as good as kraken shield, which isnt banned. Mana burn has a thousand counters to it. If you cant figure out how to avoid a haunt image then you should just uninstall. Let's unban mana burn cause theres a number of skills we currently play with that are stronger than it. Tinkers laser is hella broken at higher levels. Its supposed to cost 150 mana and it only costs 50 mana. Should we ban it? No. It's not insanely OP. It has counters. That's the main point.

The only skills that are banned are banned because they are glitched. Unfortunately none of the op skills are banned (even though they should be)

Sof + jinada + germinate is banned most places. That's probably the most op combo there is. But anyways. Let's bring mana break back since it's not even that op. It's strong. It's a good skill to take. But game breaking auto win? Hell no. Youre talking about Sof + jinada + germinate there.

Ball relocate or rearm phant meta is way stronger than sof jinada geminate enchant. They also require less heroes to get the draft.

How's RGC?

RGC has its benefits and drawbacks. The games are more balanced. They play where you can only pick one skill per team so if someone else on your team picked zues ult, you cant pick it. It balances the game more. Also some combos are unpickable. You can one hit but its not the super sleight of fist one hit youve come to hate.

Each region can set their own rules. All have kraken shield banned. It's like having 2-3 skills in one so it is banned. Also soul rip and tombstone is banned. All banned rearm images.

RGC is also nice because you can play 4 and 5 skill lod. It's a different game. Makes it fun to switch it up once in a while.

The worst part of RGC is they give players the power to kick you from a lobby. So if someone has been there for a while and earned the power they can mess with you. If theyve been there for a really long time they can kick you and ban you from a specific room. Proving they were abusing powers is a pain in the ass but it can be done. This is the worst part of RGC. No one should be able to kick others from a game lobby. I dont have a problem with the majority votekicking but giving one player the power to decide who gets to play is too abusable.

The balanced games make RGC more fun and the ability for players to abuse each other makes RGC a bit of a shit show at times. It's nice not having the stacked teams like ENT has. Players stack so bad here. Ruins a fun even game really. Points dont matter that much at RGC. Some bots autobalance and no one cares about points. They just want an even game of fun. A lot more players play at RGC. Prolly 10 times the amount ENT has. The noobs are allowed to survive since they arent stacked against like they are here.

word. lod itself is unbalanced. we should only be banning glitches, not debating how op a combo is

Rearm x marks is banned on most other Lod sites for that reason. I support this. Dont see many players taking it but when someone does and knows what theyre doing they can easily end the game with a !ff by the other team. Theyre 98% unkillable. You have to get extremely fortunate to catch them.
