Why you should be unbanned:
I'll explain this the same way I did to CheW for the sake of consistency. I'm not here to argue the justification of the ban, it was merited entirely. Without feigning ignorance, I was banned for using a method that I did not even realize was bannable in the first place. I used flamebreak to push Roshan on the cliff-side so a teammate could pummel him with fury swipes at level 1.

In retrospect, this actually turns out to change the game significantly because my teammate and I were level 4 within the first minute -- I also had aegis and Arcane Boots by two minutes on a hero with spammable high damage spells, which makes it nearly impossible for the people in my lane to compete against me. This competitive advantage continues to have a noticeable effect throughout the game because players who might have ordinarily killed me early became suppressed by my advantage in early levels and items.

Overall, I should have simply appealed the ban immediately. Truthfully, I felt remorseful because I treated CheW like crap in the game we were playing (He was on a smurf and I was unaware). This simply tells me I should treat people in a more respectable manner rather than bad-mouthing them. However, I did not and decided I would play a few games at my grandparents until the ban wore off -- figuring no harm no foul.

In the end, I dodged the ban. Doing so in the first place was a mistake, it also shows that I really held no regard for ENT's policies. Moreover, I could continue to dodge the ban but that does not solve the issue in the first place. If you want to play in a respectable community, you must uphold the rules yourself. I did not.

Why should I be unbanned? Maybe I shouldn't. ENT's rules and policies are clearly laid out. Perhaps the best reason I could give is that this experience is actually very useful in reinforcing values that can be practical not only online but in real life. For instance, walking a straight line and doing what you're supposed to do; there was no need to dodge the ban in the first place if I simply went through the proper channels to appeal the ban it might have been reduced or rescinded. Also, treat people with respect -- this one is self-explanatory.

In conclusion, my bad. Really should not have tried to skirt the rules in the first place. If I am allowed to return to this community I can make good on a second chance to uphold its standards in a better fashion.
