Ban appeal

Postby Frenzuh » Thu Aug 31, 2017 1:39 am

Your Warcraft III username: Frenzuh
Realm/Gateway: USEAST
Why are you banned: It says on description REASON: Not Kicking game ruiner - TID:116014 (other) by admin: Alina
Ban is effective until 2017-09-01 18:05:40 US eastern time

Why you should be unbanned: I am not sure why I am being banned and I am unsure of the game ruiner that is being described in my ban. When somebody is purposely game ruining I always ban, but somebody who isn't very good at the game I always let play so they can practice and get better, I do not believe the solution for bad players is by kicking them every single time, but to help them and give them tips etc.

I consider myself a outstanding member of this community, and I never leave games / game ruin / etc, and I am the first to help people who aren't that good at the game with tips on what to do with their hero, and I never flame people for being bad, or flame people in general. Please consider my ban appeal,

Thank you,

Frenzuh

You were banned for refusing to votekick a gameruiner here:
viewtopic.php?f=8&t=116014

A simple stat check would've told you that he wasn't a new player, in addition to the information they provided when they were pushing for a votekick.

Also just to clarify, As I am now aware of the person who was game ruining and what he was doing, He ended up destroying all items at 38:19, and the game ended at 39:28, Which is a little more then a minute. Once he sells items I agree that is game ruining, but in real time I felt like the person was vote kick abusing, and I stick by it.

Time stamp on replay 35:14, I say "if anything ur banned for votekick abusing"

Up until that point, the troll was doing nothing wrong, and I stand by that. He is a bad player, yes, but like i said in my OP, I do not believe the solution for that problem is by kicking, and I feel like the person was votekick abusing that player, and flamed him, which caused the troll to basically say "fuck this game" and destroy his items and ruin the game.

The whole problem with players like him, and people like poopinmypants, is they will never learn the game when you just have people flaming them non stop, and then they get so frustrated because the votekick comes up non stop to kick them, that they actually ruin games because of it. Again, I feel like my ban is unwarranted, and in real time the troll was obviously a bad player, but if the roles were reversed and he was on my team, I would be trying to help him, not flame / kick him, and I would also like to submit a ban request on Poopinmypants for flaming / vote kick abusing.

As it was said, the game ruiner isn't a new player & 90% of the game time, he did not help. It was said during the votekicks why he should be kicked, therefore you must agree and votekick like everyone else. But although there was only two votekicks and your motive for not kicking seems ''alright'' and ''nice'' from you, we can make a deal. Please head over to our Wiki VK rules page, read it carefully making sure you understand, and copy paste the rule(s) you broke.

If a votekick is initiated to kick a visible game ruiner, all players are obligated to !yes.
It is possible to game ruin by being new. In this case, votekick will only be valid if the new player refuses to learn and cooperate. Just because someone is a newbie or bad does not mean he is intentionally game ruinning.

This is the rule that I broke, But I do feel like he was cooperating, he showed up to team fights, and wanted to push and said that in chat after a team fight, There are different ways to dealing with somebody like this, and I feel like the approach by poopinmypants, is the absolute worse approach you can take, and I feel like this situation could have be prevented but poopinmypants decided to flame / votekick a bunch of times.

In the future, I will type !yes to votekicks like this, But I want it to be said that I don't feel like that is the best policy / rule, and the real game ruiner in this game was poopinmypants, but if thats the rules you guys will have, then I will go by them, But i still want to voice my opinion that I don't agree with it.

Also, When you initiate a !votekick, you should clearly explain "Who" and "How" the violator is game ruining via all chat.
You are free to refuse to votekick someone when there is lack of evidence/visible rule violation. However, communicate your decision via all chat, too.
If you are unsure that someone on the opposite team is game ruinning, ask the other team for clarification via all chat.

I never voiced my opinion in chat, therefore this defense can't apply to me.

Thank you for understanding the rules. Dota is a team game, when you don't help and prefer camping a lane 90% of the game time, on purpose or not, it is considered refusal to help team & game ruining.

Approved.
Any more issues with this, feel free to PM me.
