for me it is important if they are willing to learn, of you explain something to them and they do it, lets say buy a certain item, I am way more willing to help them, and and a lot less tempted to vote !yes

I think the way around this is to educate newer players.

A good idea is to host learning games where an experienced player will referee/observe the game and give pointers to how to play. I'm uncertain what the ratio of teachers:learners should be, but it's the best way of getting rid of low-level games!

Hello!

I`m a new here and also in the DotA world.
I played my first 2 game today and I have to say it`s been disappointing. I got killed first and instantly ppl voted for kick.
In the first game they didn`t got the vote count but I ended up quitting.
Good to know that you are considering things about noobs.
I appreciate it!
I`m sure that I will now only play on ENT servers cause atleast here I see some effort. Thank you!

Don`t worry I will try not to feed!
Btw i read something about AI gameplay in DotA. Can u please tell me how is it possible?
I also want to practice alone or with my friend until I can`t keep up with the players on the servers.
Thanks again!

Have a nice day!

Go to a clan ent channel
type !map dota
You should get a list of dota maps and one of them should be AI. If the map name is "Dota v6.68c AI....."
Then type "!map dota v6.68c ai" and it will load the map.
Then type "!priv xxx"
Your game name will be xxx
Join the game, wait 20 seconds for spoof check then type !comp 2, !comp 3, !comp 4 etc for computers.

False, should amend to "nobody wants to lose a game, unfortunately most people do not prepare to win a game."
.

how is that false? nobody wants to lose, ipso facto, they want to win....preparation is irrelevant. obviously half the people don't prepare enough...

On the topic of noobs, I decided to try out Dota yesturday and was doing quite poorly since I wasnt aware of what items to get or anything yet. Everyone on my team began to tell me to leave so I didnt argue it and left as they asked. But then I realized when trying to join another dota game... that apparently you get banned for leaving. I guess my question is, how long is a ban for leaving a dota game. Even though the way I got banned was pretty stupid, considering my team didn't want to help me but instead rage at me and tell me to leave.
Im good

I am all for helping noobs. But there comes a point when your team can win with out him to kick him i think. he shouldnt ruin the game for the 9 others that can have a good game. thats my thought. ill never kick a noob until this gets changed. but when verusing a couple of good players and the noob goes0-6 0-08 its time to kick.

Only votekick a noob if he ignores your advice. As others have stated, how are you supposed to learn to play if you don't get to actually play?

Also, lol at the guy who said it's a competitive game. Tell me, what's the name of your team? How many tournaments have you participated in? Pubs=/=competitive.
