Alright, I will go into more detail then. You say he interfered with the game as an obs. Observers are not excluded from the drawing process. In fact, they are needed to get a draw. Eldryan and Izno wer living by the etiquette rules that state it is customary to draw as quickly as possible - and since they were people who had to draw, they did this.

As an unbiased observer you should not make any decision and this is what they did. They followed the LIHL-etiquette rules immediately after the disconnect happened showing they did not take sides and no strategical position regarding the game.

If anything, they were example gamers by showing they did what they had to do according to the etiquettes.

I can't see how you can look at this negatively except if you have a personal dislike. I'm afraid you will have to unvouch if that is really your plan.

there is no referees other than mods. observing games is more a privilege than anything. i think observers should just follow up playing people in !draw vote.

I've watched the replay 3 times and here is the conclusions that I have come to on the 3 main topics:

Who's gunna win on lvl 17?

• West leaked 50 to a pretty buff king. This was 1. Without their strong lane (red) and 2. With teal getting 3 demons (due to red dropping)
• West may survive 17 with leaking 20 to a max king, even with no heals, depending on how many demons were left.
• East leaks 24 to almost naked king. East king may also have died if West held. Hard to determine.
• Conclusion: I cannot decipher from this replay if this game was 100% over and East was going to win. Therefore, I am leaving this case as a DC penalty for now whereas dark_magician got -20 elo and the rest of the players in the game got +4.

Bans the DC'er?

• I do not see any reason to issue a ban to dark_magician. This was his first suspicious DC so far with 41 total losses in LIHL. No one has recieved a ban for their first DC under similar circumstances.
• Conclusion: No bans will be issued at this time.

Observer !draw?

• Please note that observers must !draw the game after a DC prior to lvl 20. If the observers don't !draw then the !draw cannot successfully pass
• Also, please note that Eldryan was not the first to !draw and did not cast his !draw vote until 30 seconds after red had dropped.
• Conclusion: No observers violated any rules by casting a !draw vote.

Man, I kinda feel like the odd ball lately (Mickey I understand how you felt lately, I'm against everyone lately ). Again, I have to disagree with the most of you. I completely understand Furbolg and agree with him.

As an observer you should NEVER !draw 1st. As an observer, you should ask the players what they would like to do, before even considering to !draw


My point.....last night we played a 3v3 game. Valheru, Gouus and me vs Beep, DJ.FM, and Trancedout. Unfortunately Valheru disconnected on lvl 13, about 10 secs before the wave came. Did he PP? That's not here nor there and regardless he got penalized properly. We (everyone on my team) knew they were going to send on 13. TBH....it didn't look good for us and I thought we would have lost. What happened?!?!?

^^ That's how it should be done. Play the lvl out!!! If we were to lose on 13, GG us and no draw, but since we held.......We draw! Cmon guys.....why can't we be civilized and talk/work things out. This is an obvious thing to do.

btw if he lagged out before the lvl start = you get more send than if he was here (even tho there are more creeps if he is here), so I don't really know what is the best choice. You acted like a champion in this game ! Not everyone can understand

Just thought that I would point that out. East had to vote !draw to end the game and I don't think that the order is really that relevant to the outcome of the game or the ruling. Players did the right thing by !drawing the game - this is why we have the DC Penalty in place - remember that you all voted on this procedure!
